My College Experience

The overall performance of the college is good. My only request for the college is to arrange campus interviews.

I was very much interested in accounts that's why I opted to take B.Com(C.A.) I just applied through the application form no specific exam of needed.

The course curriculum was good. We had all electives related to accounts, commerce, economics, business administration, NSS, environmental science & computer science.

We didn't have any internship program. But even though since the college timings were very comfortable most of the students were working part time. Even me. I was working in a BPO for 15k.

The American college is one of the well known colleges in madurai. During my period of education there were lot of problems and internal politics. So we didn't have any placements. I know that we had placements before and now. I was in that unlucky batch.

The American college is famous for events. We has a lot of different events like international science exhibition, live theatrical plays, concerts, Lots and lots of cultural events like Christmas celebration, diwali celebration, pongal celebration and many more.

The fee structure is very feasible. Even if you are a self management student the fee structure is very reasonable. If you are a regular student then it is damn cheap.

We were offered scholarship for minority community. We also has cross semester scholarship program.

The campus life was very good. The gender ratio was 1:1, everyone was served equally, we had a lot of parties, we had a lot of extra Curricular activities like sports, labs, skits, plays, debates and much more.

The hostel facilities are quite good. The rentals are reasonable we have ample room space for everyone. The only drawback I felt was the food. It can be improved a little better.

Our seniors are very good. They gave us good opportunity to expand our knowledge. They guided us in off campus recruitments. We have alumni program every year. We get a lot of references through our alumni.

The exam structure were very good. We had ample time to study. We didn't face any pressure. In fact we enjoyed going to every classes.

Each and every faculty have their own characteristics. On the whole Our faculties are very good, well experienced, neat, motivated, helping, understanding, and very kind.
