I like that my colleg is better in management which is good for every student of the college in the sence
Some times management also fails for doing some things which are not big things because there are some technical issues
College hepls every student in the issues sometime it takes time but the solve tue problems of every students

Dislikes

I dislike that some times college staf is just listining not doing any thing
They should help every student with the responsible things for
That why students dislike some things in the college management

SPC from a TYBA students POV

Likes

Kalamandal (like theatre club), it’s a different world and it’s magical.
December to March is the college fests time and it’s super lively and fun
Psychology, Sociology & Philosophy departments have amazing professors. They’re smart, helpful and actually care for their students

Dislikes

Except for Psyc, Socio& Philo other departments are awful specially the English department. The HOD herself speaks horrible English and doesn’t even know any books of jane Austin besides pride and prejudice.
The toilets are horrible and never clean and are barely open even. The canteens are also okayish at most.
The management and accounts department are horribly slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good, it's fun and I enjoy it. It changes every sem and that's why we also get to explore more of the subjects. It also depends on the professor tho. First year is to chose 6 different subjects and explore. Then second year you get to choose one major and two minors. Major are then divided into 3 parts, the 2 minor subject are elaborated and one compulsory subject which is English, this continues for third year. There are 2-3 additional subjects that change every sem too like PE, EVS, etc.

For a person who into music production this is the best course and College but any other music field consider other options. The administration is too poor and are harsh on the students but the teaching faculty is supportive.

Out of fright I applied to many colleges like KC , ruia , ruparel , wilson , Elphinstone etc but atlast decided to choose ruia as the microbiology department of ruia is outstanding and the no. of opportunities one can get when in ruia is very vast and the growth which happens in a place like ruia where there is a team/group/society for evey persons liking and ability . I didn't got any rejections as my score was 67 and every other college's science cut off was very low so there were many choices for me to make so as per the credibility of evey college i compared the department and curriculum and RUIA turned out to be the best . IN RUIA ONE CAN DEFINITELY BALANCE STUDIES , WORK AND EQUAL AMOUNT OF FUN DURING FESTS. Ruia, A place where future leaders are shaped

Taking admission into my course needed a 10+2 certificate from any Nationally recognised board of education in Science stream. The students will have to first register on the University of Mumbai website after which they can register themselves on the college website. Once registered, the college puts up a cut off list for the course and admissions occur in 3 rounds. Reservation is present in admission to courses but depends on the cut off. During my times the cut off from the 3rd list was 86 percentage and the first list was above 90 percentage. The exams are moderately tough and the exam cell is one of the best....Read More
