LPU, Pharmacy

Reviewed on Sep 2, 2020

Remarks

Since my father has a pharmacy shop So I wanted to take forward the shops and for that I need to have a degree in pharmacy and the reason I chose LPU is I didn't had a great score in NEET nor I had any interest in dropping

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is well designed as it goes through the basics of 12th chemistry and moves ahead with other new knowledge. Every student is also prepared for placement as well. Faculties are well qualified and recently a professor also had a medicine for diabetes patent to her name

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 432000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are decent for Pharmacy as there are'nt many company for pharmacy visiting the campus and moreover the students getting placed are those who desperately want job and are moreover placed on below average salary.

College Events

4.5

The Campus life is very much happening. There ia always a event going on in campus especially on Sundays some or other celebrity visit the campus. Recently last year Coke studio was organized and singer Amit Trivedui came

Campus Life

Campus Infrastructure is beautiful and has a very good infrastructure. Every kind of sports is available. There is WiFi all over the campus, Labs are well equiped with all chemicals required for experiment. Every class room is equiped with projectors

lively campus nights and a fun student life at chandigarh university

Likes

my overall experience at the college has been good so far
the faculty members are generally helpful
campus life is active with various cultural and technologies events

Dislikes

one thing i feel can be improved is the amount of pratical and industry oriented learning
some claases can be more theroy oriented so more hands on activities and pratical sessions would be beneficial
during major events and peak hours the campus become crowded

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is realvent and fairly comprehensive i choose computer science engineering because it covers importnt ares such as programming data structures data base software development and emerging technologies

A Great College Experience with Learning, Growth and Opportunities

Likes

Good campus infrastructure and modern facilities for students.
Supportive faculty and a good learning environment.
Variety of activities and opportunities for overall development.

Dislikes

Some administrative processes can take more time than expected.
The campus can be crowded during peak hours.
Hostel and mess facilities could be improved further.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical concepts and practical skills relevant to the course. It provides a good foundation for real-world applications and further studies. Exams are conducted regularly and are generally manageable with proper preparation. The curriculum could be improved by adding more practical projects, industry exposure and updated topics.

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement
