Remarks

ICT is famous and has good ranking and it is best college in India for Chemical engineering, if not IIT for Chemical engineering then ICT is best.It is also a Deemed UNIVERSITY.If your interest is in doing calculations, and you like to learn how industrial process takes place this college will be good choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus covers almost everything, right from 1st year in Sem 2 we have an engineering subject,It is not same like other colleges like in 1st year 1st SEM we have PCM as subjects and lab,but some subjects which were to be done in 1st year were,there in 2nd year.Syllabus keeps changing after 6 years,currently the syllabus was updated in 2015.Almost all faculties have done PHD and the way and level of teaching is very good.

Class Size: 81Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Placement Experience

Honeywell,Biocon, Shell,Galaxy Surfactants,Reliance industries,ONGC,IOCL RCF,etc are some companies.

College Events

When you enter in ICT first thing you will hear is 'ICT is all about tests and fests' and it actually is.Right from the 1st year when you will enter starting will be a 21 day Induction program,which was started from our 2018 batch where you will good exposure to college campus and nearby areas of college.In this period there will be Freshers events conducted. Then we have midsems After that we have our Technical fest VORTEX after a month we have our end sem exams then vacation,then start of next sem then preparation for Cultural event MANZAR and in Jan end and start of Feb we have tge main MANZAR event After that midsem then preparation for sports event,In march we have sport event SPORTSAGA and ICT Marathon.So for almost all events you will get to work in different department like Design,creatives,hospitality,PR,etc and then we have YUVAM in April and at end in May there is endsem.There is good participation for almost all events.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Likes

Cultural fest and sport events are very nice
Practical classes are very interesting and help in visualizing human anatomy
Hostel facilities are very nice and provide good facilities

Dislikes

No mess or canteen facilities are available in college
Sport ground is not too big and has less equipments
Boys Hostel is 6-7 km away from the college

Curriculum is competency based which tries to help in overall development of student in all aspects. Every subject is given equally attention. Every department conducts seminars, different sessions in which students has to present different topics on stage which help them build confidence for speaking on stage.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
