Remarks

Reputed College, Good campus life, good placements record, near my hometown, 3rd best college of NCR. Good college MHRD ranking, NCR is also hub of startups and companies so ample opportunities in terms of placements, every need is readily available. Good coachings available for higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good. Faculty is from reputed colleges(NITs, etc.). Good curriculum, all the labs and equipment available for use. Good library. Professors are available for help outside classrooms. Exams are a little on the tougher side but good grades can be achieved with hard work.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

Some top private players like google, microsoft, adobe, Samsung, VIVO, Nokia, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Grofers, etc visit college every year with highest package ranging from 40 lakhs this year by Adobe to 3.5 lakhs by mass recruiters. Almost all of the batch was placed with a decent package of approx. 6 lakhs. But many also placed in Infosys, cognizant, Wipro(300-400/1000)

College Events

Year-round activities are organised. Multiple opportunities for technical/cultural fests. Fests have decent budget with numerous big sponsors with performances by famous punjabi artists and djs. Campus princess, freshers, dance, music, sports competitions are also organised.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for EWS is available but min CGPA req. Is 8 and only 1-2 students get it in every batch. But since applicants are low so you can get it if your cgpa is good(around 8.3). Scholarship is only on the tution fees so you still have to pay development fees of college(almost 60k once a year)

Campus Life

Lots of extra-curricular activities. Lots of seminars and societies/clubs to choose from. Good hostel infra with decent mess. Nice auditorium and space available for outdoor and indoor games. Swimming pool, Wi-Fi in hostel and college both.

Hostel Facilities

Total 12-13 floors in the main hostel building with almost 40 rooms on a floor. 4 elevators run top to bottom all day. Hostel rooms occupy 2. Have AC, wifi facilities. Washrooms on both ends of every floor are clean with facilities of hot water in winters. Washrooms are not shared by a lot of students. A good ratio is maintained. Water coolers on every alternate floors.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Likes

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Likes

The office staff is very good and helps in every problem that is faced by a child and provides solution for that.
The teachers are supportive and helps students with great conceptual lectures.
The campus has a huge area and gymnasium and big grounds are available for physical fitness and games.

Dislikes

The toilets are not clean and it should be taken care of because it looks very unhygienic.
There are some students who come to college just for making the environment bad and also the College ID is not checked so anyone can enter the campus easily.
The fans and benches for students are very old and should be changed because it cause discomfort for the students.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, the students are eligible for Placements. Wipro TATA INFOSYS Accenture ICICI bank Mahindra Are the some companies where studets gets placed. It think the highest package was 20 LPA and lowest package is 2.4 LPA. 25- 30 percent students are placed. My plan is to persue MBA after getting the BBA degree while doing a job.

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

After completing the course they are provided with an internship of 12000 per month There are no placement provided by the college You have to give pg exam to get a placement In mbbs there is no such placement that a college can provide

Give new techniques and technical ideas about plastic material

Research approach is missing in my college
Faculty not focusing on studies too much
Give big campus like other collage because government college is begger and. Better

the last year placement is 12 lakh per anuum in 2023 my senior who was completed plastic engineering from cipet ipt lucknow he got 12 lakh package in maruti suzuki company and other senior are also got good placement like 9 lakh or 7 lakh per anuum

College infrastructure and no one is serious about placement
TPO and Director behaviour they are totally unable to make your future bright

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.

Remarks:

I found the atmosphere very good.Overall experience is good and satisfying.We don't need to worry about notes and exams as our teacher are very supportive and qualified.They helps you throughout the journey.

choosing jiit over other private colleges seemed like a smart decision due to it's good average package in Delhi NCR. I applied to the northcap university in gurgaon and i was selected there but after talking to students there and looking at the average package of the college i chose jiit being it close to metro station also it is in a good location too.
