Remarks

There are no such factors which attracted me towards this. I got this college at the Mop Up Round Counselling and got luckily this college because my rank is almost high and at that that is very difficult to get a good college with CSE as a branch. But luckily I got this college. The exposure of this college is good and also heard from many of my friends regarding this college. And this college located at the hub of IT Sectors so students can enjoy it. I opted for this course because I want CSE Branch and lots of interest from the very beginning of my life.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Syllabus is moreover updated from todays generation that includes Physics Chem Maths in 1st Year and Java Programming,C Programming and DBMS and many other technologies such as Cloud Computing,Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Faculties are somehow good that is most of the faculties are from IIT Alumni and Some Teachers are pursuing Research or doing Phd. Suvendu Sir from CSE Background has a vast knowledge regarding Data Structures and Algorithms and also Programing Languages like Python,Java,C++.

Class Size: 240Course Fees: INR 632000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are good. Many Companies arrives at our College such as TCS,IBM,MICROSOFT DELOITTE, INFOSYS,HCL,CTS,CAPGEMINI,TECH MAHINDRA. Microsoft offers 15 lpa packages and Tcs offers 3.8 LPA for the TCS NQT level students and 7 lpa for TCS Digital level students. IBM offers 3.6 LPA and CTS offers 3.8 LPA. Placement Scenario is good and almost studets got placed in the Mass Recruiting Companies.

Our College have Technical Fests, Cultural Fests which provides a great oppurtunity for the students to showcase their inner talent other than Studies. And Participation count is very big like more of the colleges participates and win rewards and cash prizes.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have applied for Prime Minister Scholarship for Central Armed Police Forces. Bengal Board Passouts please apply for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus Infrastructure was not so good. You feel bored about the Campus. A small campus with a small ground and a Cafeteria and Seminar Hall not so big is inside the College. Library Size is big but they dont provide books for your Home Study. Thats the thing that I didn't like. Labs equipments are good there.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell provides us with training programs and internships and also if the students are careful and disciplined in the classroms they can crack through job interviews. There is mock viva at the end semester and also some on campus hiring companies came in our college.

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Fair college according to me

Placement Experience:

Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.

Reasons to not apply for NSHM Knowledge Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.
