SKIT Jaipur, B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering

Reviewed on Sep 8, 2020

Remarks

I choose this college because of the 1 st ranking of it in rtu list and also the placements rate played a major roll in selecting this college. Skit has so many streams and highly qualified teachers for all streams. Labs and infrastructure is also really good.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is b.tech and branch is CSE. In cse i found highly skilled teachers, they teach us out side of boks and syllabus also to match us with the current technologies. The syllabus is not really upto date but college provides many workshops and seminars for students so they can learn new technologies. College also provides an industrial training at the end od the semester for students to get industry exposure.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 93000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I opted for a virtual internship in KPMG. This internship was based on ML. There wasn't any stipend associated with this internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

Skit has really good placements, 80% of the students get placed in really reputated companies like Infosys, tcs, cognizent, IBM, byju's etc.

College Events

Skit provides best technical knowledge, the lans are really well equipped and teachers are really skilled and heplfull. Skit also encourage to tye holistic development so there are so many clubs run by students under faculty instructions of all possible zons like technologies, cultural, dancing, photography, singing, sports, toastmaster etc. So it leeda to a complete development of one. In skit we celebrate our anual festival as pravha in which all kind of clubs and students takes part.

Campus Life

Skit has all green campus. There are 3 main educational buildings, 1,library,2 hostels, 1 mess, 2 canteens, 1 stationary shop, many gardens and so many sports facilities are in the campus. All the educational buildings have latest facilities and the infrastructure is really good.

My Happy Place!

Likes

There are all kinds of clubs possible for extracurricular.
The teachers and staff are supportive at all times.
Canteen food is both tasty and hygienic.

Dislikes

No one apart from sports students are allowed to use the sports equipment. We have to carry and bring our own balls and everything in that case.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had interest in Chemistry and the science behind the bonds. It has always fascinated me. The curriculum is very much similar to what we prepare for the competitive exams like NET or GATE, just the exam pattern is different. We mostly study for subjective university exam. The frequency and timing of exams is perfect, just how it should be. The difficulty level is moderate too.

The Best College

Placement Experience:

The college provides placement opportunities through campus recruitment drives, where students can apply for jobs in different companies. Placement opportunities depend on students' skills, academic performance, and the requirements of employers. The college also helps students develop their communication skills and prepare for interviews. After completing the course, students can explore job opportunities, pursue higher studies, or prepare for competitive examinations.

Likes

I like my college because it has a friendly environment and helpful teachers. The classrooms are clean, and the library is useful for studying. I enjoy spending time with my friends. My college provides good education and encourages students to part

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as very good. It covers important topics and provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge. The syllabus is relevant to our field of study and helps develop our skills. However, including more practical sessions and industry-related topics would make the curriculum even better.

College offers excellent environment to students in study and in other academic activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose to do B.sc. because this course focus on specific scientific disciplines. It offers in-depth knowledge and skills to the overall quality of the fundamental principles and theories in physics chemistry maths subjects. The college has best faculty memembers and teaching system. All teachers have good qualifications, communication skill and teaching experience. And teachers provide clear explanations, engage students in active learning and offer guidance and support throughout the academic journey. Exam in B.sc. course in physics chemistry maths subjects typically assess the student understanding of concepts, theories and problem solving skills in this disciplines. The exam include a combination of very short answer, short answer and long answer, type questions asked in exam including practical exam in practical subjects also this is exam format and level is moderate.

FROM SKIT ONLY GET PLACEMENT DON'T EXPECT FUN.

I applied for college like LMNIIT Jaipur,BIT jaipur. But I didn't take admission there because the fee of these college is too high .i cant afford it.i also applied purnima college and jecrc foundation, but everyone says that skit is much better than purnima and jecrc in education or placement also.skit is good for those students who want to do something. It is strict college it is good for students. In admissions you first give jee mains paper. Then you applied in REAP it same as joosa counselling in REAP you get reap rank .then according too reap rank you get college. Reap rank is depent your jee main rand and class 12 pcm percentage. If someone doesn't give jee main he can applied for REAP . But first preference is give to rhe student who give jee main .cutoff is based on reap rank .i can give you rough ide that i get 94000 rank in jee main 2024 and 88.60 percentage in12 my pcm percentage is 96.i get 751 open reap rank and 250 obc rank....Read More

SKITian giving reality checks

Our college is on 1st rank in rajasthan technical university's ranking criteria. This was the main reason why i selected this college. Other than that the placements are good enough for every branch. My admission criteria was from REAP. I applied in REAP and according to my priority SKIT was first and JECRC foundation was second. They also check JEE ranks and 10th plus 12th class percentage and allot the branch as per ypur performance....Read More
