Remarks

My parents wanted me to complete my graduation from Kolkata and this was a good option for management studies. So talking about techno India University Kolkata it is basically known for it's technical education but they're doing good for management department too and I feel like it's a safe option to pursue your BBA from here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum according to me can be improved with some corporate visits and guest lecturer beside that few teachers are really good and have mastered the art of teaching but sometimes it's a mixed bag, I feel like the management building needs a dedicated library and more practical approach while teaching, the course Structure is fair but lack any sort of specialization it'd be great if the university add specialization at the undergraduate level like in finance, marketing and HR to name a few.

Internships Opportunities

I'm in second year and due to covid-19 I've not received any opportunities from college regarding internships but I've done some virtual internships on my own and most of them were unpaid or target oriented.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement department is hopeless for the management department they try to invite some companies but according to my seniors mostly poor roles are provided and students tends to pursue their masters after the completion. Companies like TCS, Byjus, Paytm, Deloitte, wipro visits campus for placement and the average pay is around 3lpa. The alumni network is still growing not much to brag about. I think the placement team should start working hard and take the placement season seriously for the students.

College Events

1

The campus life is a mixed bag of feelings we don't have acres of land, we've a building and talking about the extracurricular activities they're very few to be very honest and lack opportunities. We've some sports team and some other creative teams but the engagement there is very low. The fests are not that great either like I'm in second year and due to covid-19 I've never experienced any fest so far all I heard from my seniors is that the fests are pretty sad and not to expect much.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to be the scholarship opportunity is very vague and not disclosed properly, but if you've scored well in your +2 then you might get some additional benefits, and also if you're previously an alumnus of techno India group schools then you get some discounts as well.

Campus Life

The school of management is a building and lacks all the campus life we dream about it's like a corporate with classrooms, but I think the interior is pretty good we've well equipped classrooms and labs but I still think they can work on the infrastructure to provide more engaging environment for the students.

Hostel Facilities

There's no hostel facilities in Techno India University Kolkata, they don't have infrastructure for it. I believe a hostel option would be great as it will help students to connect better and engage in different activities resulting holistic development.

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.
