Entrance Preview

I got 21987 Rank in UPSEE depending upon that rank Amity University offered me a Scholarship of 50000 per semester thats .Why i choose this university over others University's and College's for my Graduation and i remembered .

Internships Opportunities

It was a good experience many companies came to our campus for internship purpose and they also provide good stipend to student's like HCL(12K), HP(15k), Cognizant(15K), IBM(10K) and CETPA(17K) etc.

Placement Experience

There were many companies visited our campus for recruiting us. Companies like Cognizant- 3.5 lac pa, HCL-2.8 lac pa, Ericsson-1.5 lac pa, IBM-2.8 lac pa, Idea-2.5 lac pa, Vodafone-4.2 lac pa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes our university have different Scholarship Schemes depending upon the ranks which you got in any examination like (IIT JEE, BITSAT, CAT or any other) Ranks Scholarship.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placement Experience:

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.
