Remarks

Yes college though was a govt college but for discipline students it was the best as it's credentials are the best.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was mainly from the books in those days, there were no research driven studies but now since it's an autonomous college a lot of research driven studies are done and it's fair also.there were no any industrial visits then but there were few professors who were insisting for practical studies.

Placement Experience

3

There was no placement in the college back then, it became autonomous 15 years back and few companies like Genpact, HP, Bharti AXA etc are coming for recruitment, general steps followed are day 1 and 2 they insist good students for good companies and then the process follows, around 60% of them are placed, Teachers train the students on personal interview

College Events

3.5

Annual event, dramatic event, many cultural functions, all pujas like saraswati puja, Ganesh puja and dramatic show where students portray their dramatic skills and annual event which encompasses college different functions and showcases all students Union elected representatives their finest skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since this was a govt college the fees was highly affordable and moderate. Yes they use to share the fees breakdown. There was no any additional fees but there were touts outside who used to swindle money by charging from students in unfair means giving them pretext that they can offer a seat which never happened.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't avail any educational loan as the fees was affordable since this was a govt college.we were craving to be in this college only because the fees were affordable.

Campus Life

Gender ratio - 7:3 - yes male - 70 % and female - 30%, there was tolerance then but girls were quite introvert, they were not that active, yes SC ST students who were quite poor in studies not all but almost most of them used to secure good seats due to quota system and used to play havoc instead of focusing on studies.

Hostel Facilities

No, since my house was walkable distance from the college so there was no need plus I was under the guidance of parents who can guide me with an advantage of just walkable distance the college so I didn't opt hostel

Alumni/Alumna

Yes when it comes to senior students the network is quite strong and they make sure they impart good quality training and knowledge sharing with their juniors

Admission

After my +2 result I had a passion to study commerce so basis my mark sheet I applied way back in 1999, there was third waiting list I was shortlisted, then was again declined and at last in fifth waiting list they conducted a personal interview which had lot of General awareness questions and I was shortlisted.

Faculty

3.5

Lecture student ratio was ok then, lecturers were ok kind of knowledgeable, but few were dynamic and were insisting on practical studies, even they insisted that marks are contemporary and practical knowledge helps a lot for better future.most of them were not from industry all were professors.
