Remarks

Curriculum,infrastructure,library,faculty of the college is good. Placements of the college is not yet the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is similar to IIM ahmedabad and six semester course. This curriculum is research driven and fair. Also the structure of the syllabus is very good and relevant to industrial exposure. The course is well structured and made me to improve myself very good.

Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is not that much good in this college. For our batch the college does not even allowed to participate in off campus placements. This is the most disappointment in this college. But now I heard that the college is allowing to participate in other off campus placements also.

College Events

In this college lots of events are there. But Markfest is one of the biggest event. This college conducts Markfest for one time every year. In this event all other colleges also can participate. All different types of management competitions are available. Paper presentations also available.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is 6lakhs for 2 years including hostel on 2014-2016. Now the fees is increased. For the college is odissa the fee structure is little bit high as compared with the quality of education and opportunity of placements given by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan but I aware some scholarship facility is there in the college. I don't know full details of that facility.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is 50-50; this college has good chance of extracurricular activities. Volleyball court, Badminton court and Gym and medical facility inside the campus are available. Also there has chess and Carroms for indoor games. We have the competitions once per annum.

Hostel Facilities

Yes. Hostel is compulsory of all the students. Only Sunday is outing. This college hostel facility is good only. The quality of the food is average and environment of the college and rooms given are good. But the people who habituated dayscholar life may feel this as jail.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, Will be helpful. In the campus placements there has a chance of proposing to select more number of students.

Admission

I applied for this Asbm college after the giving the CAT entrance exam. I got the call from college administration and I had telephonic interview with the college management. I scored 78percentile in CAT and had good discussion in telephonic interview. So I got admission in this college.

Faculty

The faculty of college is very experienced and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Total 20 number of lecturers are there in the PGDM course. Average age of the faculty is 50years old and Average experience is of 20years in their own field. Few faculty members have the industrial experience also.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Best part is the infrastructure and facilities provided and the flexibility with the payments and attendance
Best faculties of the state and a enjoyable campus life with various levels of social interaction

Teaching pattern and teachers are good and helpful

Food of the canteen can be better than what it is
They don't give fruits or milk for breakfast

there are smart class rooms and good faculty for my course and various extracurricular activities are available for students
you can compete many state and national level competitions such as essay writings, creative writings, debate, poster making, etc.
the management of the university is really commendable. various departments and cells have been established to help students in their academic life such as; placement cells, incubation and innovation centers for young entrepreneurs

Dislikes

students who are engaged in political activities often exercise their dominance over other students
sanitation could be better with the mutual efforts of both the students and the college management
though is a placement cell present, i haven't seen many numbers of students getting employed through the university placement cell

Likes

Our college has really good faculty who have really high expertise in their own subjects
It has a lot of facilities and amenities

Amazing College

Likes

The teaching style of the teachers are good and they are too much dedicated towards student.
The college environment that's very good. Full of nature and a natural environment.

Dislikes

The drinking water is not good. Acqua guard not sufficient.
The buildings are too old. Need to improve that.
All the courses are not provided and for UG students they may suffer many problems regarding official things

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Tata power, Adani, OPTCL and others.The highest package for electrical engineering is 10 lacs. 60percent marks is required for getting placement.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

I also applied for SRM University, Chennai and I also gotted the admission but I prefered this college over there because of the travelling convenience and fee structure and the course curriculum. Admission process is like you have to submit registration fees and you have to book your seat. No i haven't applied for any other colleges as i like this college and i am familiar with these college as my elder brother is alumni of this college No i didn't got rejection from any other college The admission process for the college is you have to appear for eligibility examinations that are cat examination, central university and transfer examination and asbm university and entrance examination. Children basically prefer asbm university and entrance examination as it is easy to crack after cracking the exam you have to appear an interview round after clearing the interview round you get selected for admission.
