Placement criteria is very poor. Many few companies do come for the placement scenarios
Yeah there many industrial visits organized by the faculties. The curriculum is very simple we have our mid exam which is later followed by the final exams and viva. Viva is usually taken by outside faculties. Mid exam consists of 30 marks and final of 60 and 10 marks on our projects and our attendance.
Internship is compulsory in 7th semester but placement ratio is much less in our college. Very people are been selected for any placement.
Their were many technical and cultural events organized. Every event is been organized by the student head of the college. Interested students do practice. Care is been taken that it doesn?t effect the studies. In these events many students from other college also take part.
It?s expensive compared to other colleges in Ahmedabad. It?s 50000 per semester whereas in different colleges maximum will be 30000 per semester. So compared to many Ahmedabad colleges it seems to be bit expensive. Even this college is in isolated place. So traveling charge also charges a lot.
No I haven?t opted for any scholarships or education loan. So I don?t know much about the scholarship and education loan process.
There are good labs for study. There are many robotic activities also done. Students organize many robotics competitions among themselves. Then they send their robotics to other college for the competition. Their is less space for the sports activities. Still students manage and hold competition among junior and seniors.
No I haven?t opted for hostel as I was from Ahmedabad only. Many of my friends who came from other states had opted for hostel and PG. Even I don?t know much about the quality standards over there as I wasn?t much in touch with such students
It depends on person to person Bt yeah seniors were helpful. They use to help in projects and also by giving their notes.
As per my merit rank I got admission in electrical Engineering. It didn?t come in 1st round.it took second merit list for my name to come in it. I had already heard a lot about it?s campus. It has a very beautiful campus with experienced faculties
Daily their use to be 6-7 lectures followed by attendance. They were very strict regarding our attendance. We had an attendance criteria below the criteria we were not allowed for any exams. Their were many helpyworthy projects and faculties use to help us a lot in it.
The M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry program offers 100% campus placement at various chemical and allied industries within India. The students become eligible for campus placements from the third semester itself. Lupin Ltd., Alembic Ltd., Aventis pharmaceuticals, Rallis India, Gharda chemicals, and Macleods pharmaceuticals are a few of the many companies visiting the campus of ISTAR. The average salary package offered is ranging from 1.5-3.5 lacs per annum for post-graduates of Industrial Chemistry.
From the 7th semester, you become eligible for campus placements and at least you scored the 7 CPI. In the college, the companies are visited is local and good reputed in Gujarat. The highest package is almost 10 LPA and the average package is likely 4 LPA and offered job as a manager, sales executive, relational manager. Almost 70 to 80% of the student get their placement and job in the company. My plans are the after graduation, If I got a chance in data science then definitely I try my best for this and the second option is in ISRO as a junior researcher.
Form 5th semester our placement process starts. There are many companies like TCS, ECW, envoys that conduct placement overall there are about 18 to 20 companies that do campus placement in our college The highest annual package is around 4 LPA and the average package is around 3 to 2.8 LPA Almost 90 percent of students get a job offer. I am having an internship at one of our recruiters and then will get a job offer at the same company
Human resource management is something which is increasing its pace every day with few percent and at this time, every college has introduced this field in their college. Choosing one from all such colleges was tough but lastly I found this college on Google.
The only process for admission included interview.
After BBA placement opportunities are almost null. We must go for post-graduation to get better placement opportunities. Though the college has a placement cell it offers max to max 25k per month package. We can't even expect a good package after BBA. We must go for an MBA to get a good placement.
The college is at too far to city area. So it's peace full. But the the big problem is the network issue there. But the college wifi is available at there. So we can use wifi calling to call the other person.
It is good college for any student, they will get good placement and also get good opportunities to improve themselves.
It's too far from my residence area. I have to travel 42km for reaching there. For reaching our College i have to weak up early in the morning. Then i have to leave the home early for reaching the College on the time.
As such there are no negative remarks for my College. The positives are that the faculties herein and their teaching are too good. You can get to do research in various fields as per your interest. The College thus is one of India's best College for Microbiology and Biotechnology studies.
