Remarks

It was good as heard about it from everywhere, it was ranked among top private colleges, the fees was affordable and i was getting the branch of my choice. The route from my home was far but easy to travel. The college had Excellent infrastructure, social culture, and amazing working laboratories and huge amount of opportunities in both academic as well as Extra curricular fields

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes it was an excellent experience overall in Vellore institute of technology, i was a student of civil engineering department, the labs had excellent facilities and the teachers were knowledgeable but somewhat lacked behind in modern technologies.

Class Size: 350Course Fees: INR 720000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Computer science has the most and Civil has the least placement, basically branches like mechanical biotech have least placements. And information technology based companies has the most placement

College Events

The extracurricular activities were amazing although the job profiles and hierarchy was influenced by politics and nepotism(close friend nepotism), but the culture and the fests were amazing. Celebrities from all around the nation visited every year and made it an overwhelming experience overall

Hostel Facilities

Decent food and clean hostel rooms with wifi connectivity for 18 hours a day with good speed and regular cleaning of the rooms were provided by the sweeper. Nice staff but mostly rude guards, comfortable beds and study table/chairs were provided with air conditioning (optional)

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Like to study the subjects in a practical way as well as getting skillfull everyday
Liked the events and the participation of the students in every aspect of the event

The working hours in clinical area is way more high and not able to tolerate
The hostel rooms should be cleaned every week atleast
More restrictions for girls only and there is a partiality among the students in gender

The subjects are quite tough but can read and learn with a little bit more effort over those subjects and so the exam will be held for 3 hours continuously and the exam pattern in like semester type and so the course in more useful

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
