As per the course curriculum, bachelors is of 4 years divided into 8 semesters.Exam structure goes like in three sections i.e. CAT-1, CAT-2 and FAT.*CAT- Cumulative Assessment Test*FAT- Final Assessment TestCATs are of 50 marks and FAT is of 100 marks Performance also includes addition of internal marks which are divided in to 4 sections i.e. 3 Digital Assignments and 1 Project. Grades are calculated taking into consideration percentage of all kind of marks scored.Exposure to all kind of topics which I studied during my course of study gave me knowledge to a great extent and it was a very knowledgeable. It played a vital role in my development and improvement of my skills

Placement percentage in VIT is 100% and they also provide all kind of internships to the students. Placements start from third year itself and it continues to the fourth year. There are around 700+ companies that visit VIT in placement process.Average CTC from VIT is around 12 LPA every year. I was placed in Infosys and I pursued my internship there itself. It was through VIT placement drive.

There are mainly two fests in VIT.1. VIT Gravitas, which is a technical fest which continues for 3 days and it includes technical competitions like Robo Wars, Auto Expo, races of the vehicles made in VIT along with various kind of workshops and many activities.2. VIT Riviera, it is a entertainment fest which continues for 4 days including various kind of food stalls, games and proshows. Proshows are live concerts where various artists from all around the country are called. My favorite is the performance when Badshah came to our university.Other than these celebration for all festivals and various clubs keep organizing various kind of activities on weekends.

I opted for education loan from Indian Bank which was suggested by the university itself. It was an easy procedure and you have to share your semester wise mark sheets with your bank.

Campus of VIT has been spreaded in the area of 350+ acres and it consists of academic blocks, lush green gardens and many cafeterias along with renowned food court chains like nescafe and dominos. Gender ratio is quite good and it has a lot of diversity as students belong from all around the world including people from different countries.There are labs which consist of most advanced machines available.VIT excel in all kind of fields like it is most awards winner in sports, dances and mechanical fields like vehicles produced and even robots and airplane models.

Yes, I stayed in hostel for first 3 years and for 4th year I became a day-scholar because I had to leave for internship program. I had to pay the fees for whole year even if say for a single day, so I chose to shift outside the hostel for last year.

Yes, of course. Alumni network and senior students help a lot in smooth life in VIT. They guide you in every field like which faculty to choose and even books and you get help even in placement drive.

The procedure to get selected in the university is through an entrance exam named VITEEE, conducted exclusively by VIT University itself. I was selected through the same. After giving the entrance exam they give us the rankings as per the marks scored in VITEEE and they publish results on their website. They divide the students into phases and days for counselling process. Fees may change according to the rank achieved. Then they call you for counselling where you need to choose your desired stream and campus out of four. I chose Vellore which is the oldest and said to be the best.

Faculty of my university are all Phds and have a great knowledge in their particular fields and same is with the delivery of their knowledge to students. Concept clearance with appropriate examples is the great method for teaching. All classrooms are smart classrooms and teaching is done through interactive sessions and videos and real time data and facts.
