Renowned college, good courses Plus it was in Mumbai, same city where I lived. So. Faculties & program opportunity were great.

Course Curriculum Overview

Integrated Marketing Communications course was 2 year full time dedicated course specialised in various aspects of Marketing. We had Term exams 3 times in a year, there was a lot of emphasis given on practical learning & live projects, which is good for overall development.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

many companies visit the campus for Summer internships & live projects opportunities. Lot of opportunities for people to learn from various companies the market, with choice of their field

Second last sem is when we are eligible for placements. Many Top companies visited the campus. 24LPA Highest package. 100% placements

Fees during our times was 4LPA. And the Avg placement package was 7.5 LPA.

Campus Life

Melange was the cultural Fest. Well equipped libraries & labs. Lot of emphasis on sports & extra curricular.

Interview Experience

Yes, SOP & Interview rounds. Spoke to a few people from the college, to get a gist of what was expected from us in the SOP & interviews.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Campus - serene and lush green 60 acre campus which lies in the heart of the Pune city.

Placement Experience:

Summer internship starts in September itself and students can convert it into PPO, this is an unique opportunity and summer placements start in the start of the second year itself. Average package for 22-24 batch is 14.32 and highest is 27 lpa.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

THE TRUTH ABOUT KJ SOMAYA

I applied for feweer Colleges but not in Mumbai this was the only college i applied in Mumbai outside Mumbai i applied in Chennai Delhi Bhopal etc but as my parents suggested not to go far away and stay here I got approval too from many of them but when they saw I got approval in kj they said it's nice get this college u can stay here , addmission process is like hetciccccc like I have no words it soo bad , 70% I might say to be eligible cutoff for these exams are not that much so you can be chill bro...Read More

The selection criterion includes cut-off cleared scores of CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT, a GD-PI round, past academic records and work experience if any. For CAT and XAT, the cut-off is usually 80-85%ile; for GMAT, the cut-off is 550-600 and for CMAT it is 85-90%ile. The group discussion is case-based. Outstanding achievements has 8% of weightage in the election process. The pros of the institute include its infrastructure, inclusive classrooms, case-based pedagogy and rich alumni base.
