Remarks
The most important reason for me to join Bennett University is that the university is backed by Times India industry, which means that there will be no compromise in terms of placements. The other reasons are the sports facilities and classroom infrastructure. Moreover, I found the course curriculum in sync with the latest market trends.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is amazing, with all latest study material in sync with the current industrial trends. The university provides amazing industrial exposure by providing NGO and Corporate internships at the end of 1st and 2nd year respectively. The faculties live up to their reputation of top-shot. They are highly educated and also very helpful. Whenever you are stuck in a project or need any career guidance, you can always approach them.
Internships Opportunities
I procured sales campus ambassador internship at Tryst IIT Delhi. As a campus ambassador, I had the responsibility to promote the annual tech fest of IIT Delhi and get registrations for the event from my university.
Placement Experience
The placement are job opportunities are really good. This year was the first placement year of the university. Companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Tata Consultancy Services, Bata, Chegg, Byju's, etc were the recruiting companies. Almost 95% of the students got placed after the completion of their respective degree. The highest package was 44 LPA and the average package was 6.8 LPA. The placement cell is very supportive and is willing to go to any extent to get their students placed with a decent package. The Bennett hatchery is the center of entrepreneurship and innovation for creative students. The cell managed to raise 21 crore funds courtesy of their amazing start-up ideas.
College Events
The campus life is very lively and amazing. All the festivals are celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm. The university also holds annual cultural and sports fests, with are very huge with over 20 participant universities and colleges. The foods stalls in the fest serves amazing food and beverages like Monster are provided free of cost to the participants representing the university. The university also holds hackathon and video game competitions, in which a lot of nearby universities and colleges participate.
Fees and Financial Aid
I availed 10% tuition fees scholarship as I scored 82% in my 12th CBSE. As a result, I get an annual wave-off of 50000 tuition fees. So, in order to sustain this scholarship, I have to procure a CGPA of 8 or more out of 10.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure was one of the reasons why I joined this university. You have wi-fi access to all parts of the campus. The classrooms are well equipped and are fully air-conditioned. The sports facilities are amazing. The playing arenas are clean and well-equipped. The football ground is the most amazing as it is very well maintained. The library is stupendous with over 1500 variety of books of different streams and industries and is fully air-conditioned. There are also computers fitted in the library to assist students in preparing their presentation projects.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is great as it has spacious and well-equipped rooms. All the rooms are of two types: Double sharing and Triple sharing, both fully air-conditioned. There is ample no. of hostel rooms so, there hasn't been a requirement of PG's as of yet. It is very easy to avail the hostel facility.
