Remarks

Infrastructure in this college was good, the teaching is also good. There are many Clubs were conducted by the college. There are more games like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Throwball etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

They are good. The Teaching of faculties are good. If we have any doubts related Subjects or any other part, we can go to Faculty cabin and ask them whatever we want. But we can ask them help, if you want to get joined in any clubs.

Course Fees: INR 191000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I haven't opted any Internships.

Placement Experience

There are many company visiting our college and take good employees for the companies. Companies like Microsoft, Apple, Pay Pal, Google, Nissan, Renault etc.

College Events

We have totally two Cultural events, they are Technovit and Vibrancies. We can be a part of the cultural events and we can join in any committee. Other than Cultures, we conduct more events like hackathon, hackathon etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know as I didn't take loan or scholarship. But some of my friends will tell that, taking study loan in college is very useful and it is very helpful to our family also.

Campus Life

Good Library, nice ground, good canteen, in library we have Wi-Fi connection facility. We have a sports room which is maintained good and we can get good equipment's. All the labs are maintained good and we can get time to practice before your lab exams.

Hostel Facilities

I haven't opted for hostel, so I don't know about hostel infrastructure or facilities. But my friends will tell that hostel is very good in maintance. It has different types of mess like south, north, veg, non - veg etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Life in SRM

Likes

The building is new, so the infrastructure is great, classrooms are fully equipped

Dislikes

Placement cell is not very active and internship opportunities are not really provided from the side of the college
Rigid attendance system , need to maintain atleast 75% percent attendance. They do not easily provide On Duty attendance for going for internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and comprehensive integrating the subjects of arts as well as law. The first 2 years focus more upon the arts subject and thereafter focuses on legal subjects . Covers all the important laws pertaining to taxation, contracts, torts, labour law, environmental law, Interpretation of statutues, election laws, cyber law , etc.

Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.

Dislikes

Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

Staffs are so good they know how educate us
They always ask us understand the concept not just read the books and write in exams
They allow us for other clg events they want us involve in the events

Not really anything I'm not sure may be they are strict just to make us learn well

The exams timing are only based on the government m .g.r university the staff prepare us in a very good way for the real world the staff always makes us to practice a lot to make the things to do easier

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

This college has a good faculty to educate the students.
Interactive class will be available for students.
Lot of programs will be held related to medical field.

Dislikes

This college doesn't has a free wifi connection
Hostel food is average in taste. Regular time table will be followed.
Not that much of infrastructure in this college

This college will provide the placement to students. This college will tie up with lot of pharma college. And they select the students based on their academic and practical knowledge and taken them by interview. Special instructions will be given related to placements.

A good college to learn about our food. The environment in which our college situated is so so good. Behind our college, yanai malai is there which is attracting us. This college created many memories. In the future also it creates memory.
