Entrance Preview

No exam is having for this college you can direclty sit online in counselling of MP higher education department counselling. This counselling is have on the basis of your 12 class percentage and i am choosing it because it is best government College for BCA and only 2 government college is having in bhopal for BCA course so i am suggesting you to take admission in only government college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course is very good as you know the course is a IT course and in this course you can tern about what is technology and the BCA is the basic of computer knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

No companies came in this college at that time it is for only degree collecting college collect you dergee and go for search job. In many cities BCA course is very important for job so banglore and gurgaon is best for job because these cities are IT cities.

Placement Experience

0.5

Job opportunity is much having in this course in metro cities is more job opportunity is having compare to small cities. You can go in IBM,INFOSYS AND I.T.C and many more companies all are the It company and package is 1 to 150000.

College Events

Sports and other festival is celebrated by the college every year sport festival like volleyball, football, racket, boxing etc. And NNC&NSS day are also celebrated by this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very less in this college compare to other college because it is a government thats why fees is less. So it is good for lower class family students fees is also cheep in this college in private colleges fee is 25000 and above and in this college fee is only 10000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarship is having for only minority and sc,st students. Who have sc st and minority student so fill online form of scholarship on mp government scholarship portal.

Campus Life

3.5

Good experience in this college and campus life is full of joy and very helpful for me. And the college is only boy college not coed so all are boys no hostel so no party in college party is out from college and all castes students are studies in college.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel and mess in this college. You can take private hostel and mess it is bad for students because no hostel and mess so this is bad.

My Experience at college

Likes

I like the overall campus environment and the friendly atmosphere of the college. The faculty members and supportive and explain the subjects well. There are also different activities and events where students can participate and interact with others
The infrastructure and basic facilities are good. I also like that the course provides opportunities to learn technical skills and prepare for placements.s

Dislikes

The college experience is good overall, but some areas need improvement. Placement opportunities could be better and more companies should be invited for campus recruitment.
Practical learning and industry-oriented training can also be increased. Sometimes administrative work takes more time than expected.
The infrastructure is decent, but some facilities could be improved and maintained better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course as good and useful .I chose BCA because it has key areas like coding, data, web work and other IT skills. The course gives a good base for jobs and also helps students who want to study more. The course can be better with more lab work, live tasks and job based skills.Teachers can use more real life cases and demos in class. There are tests and final exams each term. The exam level is fair and can be managed with good study.

My life in Oriental university

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

the curriculum was mix of both outdated and updated somethings the curriculum need to be updated according to today's world it will help in beginner level. Add latest subjects for students to learn.teaching method could be improved with practical knowledge and learning them how things are done. the exam are conducted semester wise and CCE are taken according to teachers when they want

Easy for those who are preparing for other competitive exams

Remarks:

Good thing is if you're preparing for some competitive exam along with your degree this is the best choice since there is no attendance problem. You can join any coaching class a/c to your timingsYou just need to come to the college at the time of practicals, midsems and endsems. Good or bad that is it. But if you're a very concept oriented towards your UG/PG you'll regret taking admission in this college for a longer time. There are no placements provided, no internship offers. Just that rushy job fair that more looks like a city fair where anybody can come and sit at any company's cell at register themselves even boys.

I had applied for 3 colleges - 1. Bhel College Bhopal 2. Hamidia College , Bhopal 3. Exellence College , Bhopal In Exellence college when i applied all the seats were already filled , so i have to give up that , many of my friends suggested me to not to get admission in Bhel and it was far away from my house , so thats why i got Hamidia College at last. No , not really , i belong to general category so i think that was only my quota. The minimum percentage to apply in the Round - 1 of admissions was 85% , as i got 93% , it was very easy for me to apply. I got in a internet cafe with all the documents and did all the registeration process , after some days i got admission in Hamidia College , there i paid some admission fees and showed some more documents , then i was granted a confirmed seat in the college. So , this is the process how i got admission in Hamidia College....Read More
