Remarks

modrate placement, logo of nit and most important and interesting the beauty of kashmir. As i heared that after removing artical this institute is going to make a best institute so i decide to choose this institute over nit agrtala, jalandhar(textile) and manipur.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is chemical engineering and its curriculum is good. Academics is ok and faculties are good and everyone knows some exceptions are everywhere so except them all is good. But just because of lack of time there is some problems which is faced bTV everyone.

Class Size: 81Course Fees: INR 280000 per year

Placement Experience

On campus Placement is modrate but all over students riches at a good place via psu jobs and all that. Cse branch placement is 200%(HIGHEST 72LAKH IN 2016 AT USA ) IT-110 CIVIL-50% MECHENICAL-52% ELECTRICAL-59%

College Events

A great campus life except internet issues because of some terririst activities and all that. Some clubs are who organise a lots of program like dance program by beat buster and codding program by semicolon, innovation programs by iied cell etc. And the snow fall is outstanding when i saw first time this i was just fiiling that i am at heaven but placement is not much good. Its modrate.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there is loan facilities which is provided by j&k bank for nit students and also scholarship for sc/st,having less than 1lakh income student do not need to pay there tution fee and other scholarships are also there for sc/st and son of farmar students. It is govt. institute so every scholarship which is given by mhrd and govt. Is available.

i liked the overall infrastructure of the university and their teaching
it is asias largest university with a refreashing eniviorment
the teching methodology is best with best use of teaching aids

Dislikes

some teachers are not friendly and very rude
st are given more paferance with regard to fee
st and sc have to score less in inter university test

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculam was learner friendly it mostly pursuits for acadimic not real world .yes we can use audio visal aids and flied triep .the timing of exam was in late evening of winter it was difficult for some students to reach on time.

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

Hostel I liked the most with health care facilities, internet gym
Sports field are quite awesome cricket ground alongwith other grounds
Food is fantastic and clean and safe environment of the campus

Dislikes

Frequent exams , adminstration lack of student friendly administration
Cold winters and lack heating facilities for the students
There are no special circulum activities in the universityfor the students

Placement Experience:

Students in the last semester are eligible for campus placement Recently reliance bio energy Pvt LTD,lic ,hdfc bank and many other companies did placement drive in the campus Highest average packing was 10 lakh per annum by reliance

Likes

College campus is best as we enter the college
Spending time with friends at the campus in free tym is just like awesome
All facilities are available in campus playground, swimming , library etc.

Dislikes

Canteen is small according to student population
Sitting space in canteen is not as much gud
Some appliances are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I had taken science in my 12th too, that is why I wanted to continue in science and due to my interest in physics and chemistry, I continued in this course. The curriculum provides me with Whatever is sufficient in my course and whatever knowledge I need, I will have more than that. Exam timing should be in the afternoon only because morning gets very late in coming due to which exam gets skipped, rest it is perfect

Likes

Faculty is very nice and the way they teaches us is outstanding
I like the campus beauty my college campus is very mesmerizing and maintainance is great
I like the fee structure of my college it is very affordable

Dislikes

I don't like timetables of my college the time table they made for classes is not suitable for us
There is not digitalized classes in our college..only few class rooms have this system
No heating system for winters in classrooms as well as in Libra

I am currently doing my BA Hons in political science. It was my aim to pursue my degree in political science since my childhood.. political science has a very good scope and it is also very interesting subject ...we can exercise politics in day to day life also

I get this college Throgh JOSAA ( baised on Jee Mains Rank ) . This college stands good in academics but in management it needs improvement . NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth
