Remarks

Location factor played a major role here as it is very difficult to travel long distances daily. Also the college has one of the best infrastructures and provides all the facilities. I choose this course because my family has many civil engineers and i too wanted to pursue it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is decided by the university and the college follows that. Every semester we are taken for field visits to give us industrial exposure. Faculty is well qualified here and knows how to teach and what to teach.

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

The college does its part in placement by bringing good companies for recruitment. Placement cell is very active and guides students in every step. You will get a decent job if you are talented. There are few companies though for civil engineering as most of the companies come to hire CS students.

College Events

You will enjoy your college life here and the management does its best to make sure you are entertained by organising regular fests and events. The crowd here is superb and you can easily make lots of life-long friends here.

Campus Life

Brilliant infrastructure with smart projectors in every class along with ACs. There are many sports ground. There are 2libraries both of them are huge in size. Wifi enabled campus. Labs have all the devices required. Canteen provides good food.

Good college with decent opportunities

Likes

Good faculty co ordinator and good infrastructure
Classrooms are also neat and clean as well
Library and labs are also set and best in condition

Dislikes

Sports and sports management are little busy.
Entrance Gate rule( opening & closing feels like we re in school)
Everything id good as well not any problem

Placement Experience:

Placement from ghe college are average. Student becomes eligible from final year. Few companies visits the college offering basic roles. The average package is around 4-6 lpa and some capable students get placed too.many student are also plan for higher studies or prepare for compatative exams after graduation.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college are decent with many opportunities. Many big companies came to our campus like Decathlon, times now Placements packages of these companies were almost 4-5 lac. It mainly focuses on making students industry ready Also our colleges have a seprate Placement cell which handles all these placements In case of limited collage placement the collage still supports students by improving their employability thorough workshops internships and guidance

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

The hospital is huge very and also carry massive patient load .
You can easily develop skill in hospital area due to huge numbers or patient that visit everyday.
They don't miss any classes each and every class will be taken by the teachers every day .

Dislikes

They don't have their college of nursing building.
The hostel is not so good ,food quality is worst .
There are so many restrictions in girls hostel they don't Allow to go home even .

The curriculum of college of nursing is well developed they used ppt and videos for better learning of students as well as they have their own skill labs where students can get new skills and able to reduced their fear .

Think before you opt for this college.

Likes

The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.

Dislikes

None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.

First of all I would like to tell you about the staff of my college. The staff of my college is very polite.
The atmosphere of my college is very clean
My college also has the facility of extra classes and library.

Dislikes

It is better if the environment is clean as well as cool then I face a problem of trees.
And if there are more than one lecturer in the staff, it will be easier to have lecturers for one subject.

I chose this college because it's affiliated with ggssipu and the location. I also chose this college because of its placement reviews and faculty reviews. It also has great infrastructure. Beyond the classrooms: how JIMS shape students career.

The admission process is very simple. It is done on the basis of your jee rank for btech course. The admission is also done on merit basis based on your class 12 marks in pcm as well as overall. After the jee exam one needs to apply for the separate counselling for ggsipu admissions and then according to the cutoff and one's rank the admission is done. For merit based admission one needs to contact the college administration. I chose this college as it is near to my place plus it does not impose the uniform on students which is a big relief.
