It is the 2nd best university in ahmedabad, the campus is great and the faculty is outstanding. Overall no hassles in getting the admission. I opted for Btech mechanical engineering in this college. Mechanical engg is a evergreen field that is one of the reason I opted for this.
Overall the course was up-to-date with the modern technologies to cope up with the modern industries. We were taken on industrial tours twice in the first semester itself. The faculties are overall good I don't want to take any names but there are quiet a few brilliant minds in there!
No I didn't opt for a internship till now.
There are more than 20 companies that visit every year and offer jobs to students. I don't have a good idea about the placement process because I'm just in my 3rd sem right now.so that's it the placements are good and the package is also really good compared to other colleges.
We have many events throughout the year, to name a few like Ramzat which is the garba night that happens on the campus, then there is SPARKS which is a technical event for engineering students. Sparks is a really big event cause people from other colleges come to participate in this. Then there's AETHOS, and then there's sports events for diff branches like cricket, kabaddi, basketball, football, table tennis etc.
I didn't take a loan nor scholarship. But if you give gujcet and get really good percentile there's a quota called ews or something through which you can get free education. I don't have much knowledge about that quota but you guys dig deep and check about it, it might be helpful for a lot of you. You can contact the college and ask them directly as they will obviously have tie up with the banks and they will assist you for loan facility offered by them.
The campus is divided into 2 buildings, one for design engineering, architecture and commerce degree(s) and the other for engineering branches. Both the buildings are quiet in a really good condition and well furnished and equipped with projectors in each classrooms for better understanding of concepts.
Hostel is average, the rooms are neat and clean and the space is also really big but the food is average quality. Theres 2 sharing and 3 sharing rooms. There are 2 kinds of room available AC and NON AC. The AC room costs 15000 per month and the non ac room costs 10000 per month. The size of both the room is the same whether it be AC or NON AC. So it's upto you to choose.
Placements are very good at Nirma. After the 7th semester student becomes eligible for placements. In mechanical engineering around 85% of the last year, students were placed. Companies such as Mahindra, Maruti L&T and Tata visit the campus every year and offer good packages. Of all the branches the IT branch receives the highest packages. In mechanical, last year the highest package that was offered was around 14 lacs. The average package was around 4 to 5 lacs. Students who were associated with technical clubs received good offers. As a mechanical engineer, various job profile such as assistant engineer, maintenance in charge, performance manager and design engineer is offered generally. Many students go for post graduation or MBA degrees from well known national and international universities. Currently, I am preparing for my CAT examination and will try to get into one of the IIM's of India. The highest package was around 14.4 lacs and the average was about 4.5-5 lacs. Almost 85% got the job last year. The placement cell very actively helps the students with their placement.
From the 7th semester, you become eligible for campus placements and at least you scored the 7 CPI. In the college, the companies are visited is local and good reputed in Gujarat. The highest package is almost 10 LPA and the average package is likely 4 LPA and offered job as a manager, sales executive, relational manager. Almost 70 to 80% of the student get their placement and job in the company. My plans are the after graduation, If I got a chance in data science then definitely I try my best for this and the second option is in ISRO as a junior researcher.
Based on the personal round of interview.

The eligibility of the applicatio must have passed 10 + 12 examination. I choose to do advanced diploma in Banking and insurance because I was always interested in this course.

Many of my friends have took admission in the same college. The college has good no. of students enrolling every year. The college fees is not so high as compare to other B.Sc colleges. It is near to my town also.
I completed my B.Sc Mathematics from Gokul Global University, I had quite a good experience here either academics or co-curricular. I made quite good friends from here and enjoyed my whole course duration and also learnt a lot and matured in the process.
Great College within the lush green campus in this college cleanliness hygiene is well maintained. Good Infrastructures with well developed practical labs and well-managed college.
