Remarks

Many factors were there but one of important factor was I want to take core branch and many college near me didn't have core branches so I took this one as it was having. Also core branches faculty were very good I heard from many seniors studying. I wanted a college nearest to me so to cutoff my travelling time was also a main reason.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from electronics engineering branch and all the professors or teachers of this branch are very much well qualified. All the curriculum is updated as per university guidelines and it is well arranged with virtual labs. We have two semester exams in a year along with university papers. College also use latest technology in order to teach us and provide study materials. Lots of workshop and technical seminars are carried out every week to enhance our technical skills and knowledge. Overall academics is well balanced with exams and industrial knowledge point of view.

Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Core branches placements are quite less as compared to other branches. Also our college tries to bring many big companies for placement activities. The college is very supportive has it conducts many sessions for student regarding placements interviews and mock test so that students feel easy while attending any of the interviews and be prepared for it in quite good manner. But specially Computer science and Information Technology branches have very good placements and average salary offered to the them is around 3.5 to 4 LPA. Also placement staff of our college helps us to to create the placement activities in a easy way.

College Events

Campus life is one of best in this college because this college never fails to freshen up students mind from busy college curriculum. There are many big and some fest then and now arranged along with one annual festival called ALEGRIA-The festival of joy which is one of the biggest college fest in Mumbai. It consist of various events and programs along with many sports activities. There are events where one can participate and learn more than academics and the crowd of college is much more good than all others. College also has many sports events like EFL and ECL and many other Indoor games events where student can participate and enjoy the college life. Also we have one industrial talks every month from many big people who has quite good experienced.

My Honest GHRCE Experience

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

A Detailed review of the newly built government college of engineering of Ratnagiri

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.

Nice campus but bs college life

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in 7th semester. You just have to be all clear in exams and you can appear for placement. Companies visited are Infosys TCS tech Mahindra the highest packages 1.2 crore and the average packages 3 lakhs and total 60% students got placed

After 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements many companies visit my college like ongc shell Schlumberger etc college has committed 100% placement for btech petroleum branch but i have heard this year it was around 70% after getting the degree i want to complete my masters and then apply for job the highest package for petroleum engineering is around 25lakhs and average is around 10 lakhs

In terms of curriculum I said it's overrated you study physics chemistry in 1st year.Not only in Mumbai University but in whole engineering college all over India.I only choose coding not engineering.Bit I want degree so that I choose engineering.

SGGS COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

From six semester students are eligible for placements. They are selected by taking there interviews many of them selected directly for company some of them selected for internships program. The visited are Tcs they make many of placement. Avg packages is approx. 4 lac per annum based on profiles they offer. Many of branch get more placement and some get less but average placement is out of 60 students in class 20 to 25 get place on campus. And i am going to do GATE preparation.
