Remarks

Delhi University is popular. The total fees for a semester and year as a whole is cheap and easily affordable. The distance between my home and college is less and thus the journey is not time consuming

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is not updated and old. Practical knowledge is very less. And the way of teaching and the infrastructure is also very outdated and also old school which makes it kind of boring everyday.

Placement Experience

3.5

These cells and societies are quite helpful and handy for future purposes. They provide internships for the students like me according to my interests and the available options which is a good experience overall.

College Events

4.5

The events are very big and grand. Participation of any kind in such events is very entertaining and amusing. It requires a lot of hardwork to put such events everyday for the college. It is quite stressful.

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

The companies coming for internships are great
The experienced faculty who came from IIMs
The experienced clubs and their guidance

Dislikes

There is bit of mismanagement experienced,
There is last minute information available at the end moment
Disclarity in information throughout the whole semester

Placement Experience:

It is okay and it is based on luck of the student more than hardwork. You also have to network super well to get into good dream companies. It is a good place to get it out of luck through ATS sysytem.

Honest review of ddu

Likes

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

The social life and culture in the campus is great
The qualification of faculty is good and the research environment is great

Dislikes

The course load is too much and it sometimes becomes too hectic
The hectic schedule doesn't allow some students to follow their hobbies
The course is too much theory based and doesn't allow self learning of the students

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is excellent. With the average package being 1500000. Many companies like, BCG, McKinsey, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, and Credit Suisse come for placement. Almost all the students get placed. I plan to go for higher studies after the degree

Wonderful life experience that can't be forgotten.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.
