Remarks

Marketing and sales are the key structures of any venture. You may develop a new fascinating product but you need a proper audience to reach out. Similarly you want to analyze the on going interaction with your consumers, their needs, their requirements.Looking at the very dynamic scenario in the market, one has to hone as well as new skills to get himself/herself in the real competitive world. We are at certain looking for a new normalcy in coming, very likely, there will be high cost cutting as well as job cuts. It becomes imperative to be cognitive about the spectrum of changes about to come.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities of all types and fulfill all requirements as stated in the prospectus. The quality of teaching is excellent and the teachers are very good here and supportive. The first year basically has courses from all management disciplines, including Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, Data Analytics, Strategy. You learn how to become more productive and efficient.

IIM Ranchi is one of the most premier b-schools in India. IIM Ranchi is the dream college for thousands of students. The institute also witnessed participation from top recruiters, who offered roles across Consulting & Strategy, Operations, etc. The students have been offered several roles ranging across Advisory, Analytics, Corporate Strategy, Investment Banking, Product Management, Retail Management. Alumni have been very supportive and guided us whenever required. The regular talks, webinars allowed us to know the different opportunities in multiple domains, case studies competitions, and even international opportunities.

College Events

There are multiple student bodies working towards organizing sports, cultural events, industry, business interaction, business, webinars, talks on solving case studies, cultural fests, and several informal meets. Students have avenues to play various sports. it's a student-driven campus. Every student has a say in anything that goes to college. IIM Ranchi's campus is paradise if you enjoy the rain, greenery, sports.

Good for BCA without any tension and issues all things on time.

Likes

The college organizes great cultural events like the Navotsav fest during Durga Puja and the Roshni event for Diwali.
The faculty members are genuinely approachable, friendly by nature, and always ready to help students with their academic problems.
The campus infrastructure is quite good and provides a very decent environment for students to study and hang out.

Dislikes

The curriculum focuses a bit too much on theory; the college needs to prioritize providing more practical, industry-relevant knowledge.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, campus placements are quite low, and I don't think we can easily get placed directly from the college. Barely 40% of the students (or even fewer) get placed through the campus drives. However, if students practice coding and upskill on their own, they can secure off-campus placements by their second year. Because of the limited BCA placements, my personal plan is to pursue an MCA degree right after graduation.

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

Likes

Environment of the college was good for girls
This was only women's University so there was no girls to boys ratio
In first structure was not so good as ladies toilet was not clean and good

Dislikes

No placement was there core companies never come
Faculties were not at all good and they are not at all cooperative
No life facilities was their special for science students

As it was the course and curriculum designed by government so course and curriculum was good areas of improvement should be infrastructure and lab practical methods should be improved specially for vocab vocational courses

Academics and faculties and professors ..
The classroom .. and SGD classes .. and our academic building
Our stadium , our campus , our hostel and our ground

Dislikes

Lack of water filter instead we have to pay for water
Lack of canteen ( common ) for boys and girls
Lack of coordination between different departments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current mode of our curriculum is CBME based that is competency based which has lessen the quantity of syllabus of mbbs course . This made the work of professors easy and the we as a students easily understand any topic and is easy for us in exam too .

Best nature of the faculties and their nature is also very humble
Laboratory were too good and much more space
Class were also very very good and hygienic neat and clean

Dislikes

Canteen food was not bad but their amount should be very shorter
Parking area is small but manageable to park the vehicle

Placement Experience:

Many students were selected in the placements in the last year good good companies were offering and the best thing is to be the college were very helpful regarding to the students placement some companies like Casper pharma etc their pay scale should is to approx 2lakh per annum.

college have great environment good facilities needed as per requirements ,college also have good spacious hostels and we can say better food comparing to what i heard from friends of different colleges ,the evening time is soothing and relaxing
a great senior junior interaction culture and memorable friendships letting you forget the world outside the campus, every festivals are celebrated with joy and fun ,from leaving a family to moving to another one you would love.
some of lectures are quite boring but some will amaze you with visionary thoughts ,every faculty will guide you if they see you lagging behind the course ,some extra sessions are also conducted, introducing new fields to think out of the box

Dislikes

things which i wish might get some improvements are sports facilities big grounds for sports activities students encouragement towards co-curricular activitiy, co-curricular activities get more support to come out with glorious and imagining skills.
fests do contain fun but due to time constraints before fests planning of amazing activities becomes difficult thus leading same things going on repeating, absence of good team leaders leading activities plays major role in activity failure and bored
night out time is a small problem, the area close to college is developing hence not having nearby much places for fun and chillouts spending your free time relaxing.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is average as during 2023-24 it was recession period all over the colleges are facing placements lags but still college students managed to achieve 22 lakhs+ off campus as well as 16 lakhs on campus placement.The college reached his highest placement of 51 lakh during 2023 ,the average package is 5-6 lakh and the placements percentage are 85 percent for cse students,the students completing 7th semester are eligible for on campus placement drive as well as off campus,some of the prominent companies visited are Microsoft, cognizant, samsung, byjus,infosys and 50 more.I will prepare for gate and after that i will try to get on and off campus placements which i will find better accept the offer.

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is ninth of the tenth. There is no improvement needed in this course curriculum and teaching method. The frequency and timing of exams are yearly and the difficulty level increases every year.

From 4 semester onwards you are eligible for placement and internship and most of the students Even get the government jobs and psu and some even in public service commission. The college places 97% of its students.

The admission process is nice and transparent. I don't see any scope of improvement. But yes they should give higher weightage to CAT score because the students give 200% in securing a good percentile and then they get rejected because of past academic records or lack of experience or some other criteria which I feel is a little unfair.
