Remarks
Firstly it is an NIT, has a good placement report, also near to my residence. The college campus is appealing. It provides many more opportunities in research and industrial sector. I had a great interest in Chemical engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is mainly based on the GATE exam syllabus. The faculty are specialists in their own area. They support students in their desired research area and also give guidance about industries they know about.
Placement Experience
The companies are visited to the college according to the profiles. Core as well as management companies visit the campus. The placement process has 3 basic steps. First is the aptitude test, second is Group Discussion and the third round is of Personal Interview. The rounds are also decided by a particular company as per their criteria. The alumni department also provides some information about the job openings. Entrepreneur cell is a student driven club. They also work on their projects and provide others opportunities.
College Events
The campus life is so memorable. All the students are helpful and humble to each other. The events conducted are organised by students only. Also, the seniors are very supportive. VNIT is also ragging free area. There are so many extracurricular activites conducted cultural, technical, sports, research conferences etc. The AXIS and AAROHI are the biggest event held across the city well as central India.
Campus Life
Sports complex and a huge play ground is provided. In every department there is wi-fi facility available. A separate building is alloted for a digitized library, also photocopy, Print facility is available inside library. In some departments equipments are maintained and upgraded properly.
