Remarks

Overall among one of the best engineering colleges. But can also improve over some of its facilities which are provided to students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and exam structure is relevant. Many opportunities can be availed in future. Courses are groomed with industry-specific knowledge which provides a great help in on-campus placements. Industrial visits also provided from third year of the course.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

A very good placement record. Internships provided to the students. Many good Indian and multinational companies visit the campus viz. Hindalco, Amazon, flipkart, Airtel, fidelity, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No the fee structure is a fairly nice . And they show transparency while fee breakdown. No donation for admission process. Mode of payment is through online mode that is through sbi-collect. One can also pay through education loans. No extra and unwanted charges for any other purposes.

I have been receiving fee remission from my college which is based on a student's parents' annual income.

Campus Life

Campus Life is very calm and composed along with good healthy environment. Gender ratio of 3:1 can be seen. Students from each and every category of society are studying without facing any cases of prejudices on the basis of race, caste,creed, religion etc. Student diversity can be enjoyed.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I am residing in hostel. They are very nicely ventilated and airy. Space is also enough. And all the proper sanitations and facilities are provided to students. 24hrs elecricity and water is always provided with recreation rooms for students.

Very helping seniors and great alumni network through which student's get benefited when they require.

Admission

The entrance examination for the required admission into the college is JEE MAINS. The councilling process is through JOSAA conducted by JEE MAINS authority. I was preparing for JEE MAINS as I wanted to pursue engineering through a recknown engineering college and now I am at one of my dream college.

Faculty

Faculties are too helping and excellent in their abilities. They also hold relevant industrial experience. Students are satisfied with their doubt clearing sessions. The tentative number of lectures is about 40 lecture per subject which is for a particular term.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

teachers are helpful and you can ask them your doubts without any problem. most of them are quite supportive
there are technical events, sports and cultural programs during the year, so college is not only about studies
i liked the practical sessions and labs because we actually got to work on things instead of only learning the thoery

Dislikes

Placements opportunities could be better and i feel the college can bring more companies for students
Sometimes the academics workload can fell a bit much, espically when assignments, practicals and exams come around together
Using mobile in the collge is strictly not allowed and if used our mobile is taken and given after 6 to 7 days .

Placement Experience:

Placements at VES Polyetchnic are decent for a diploma college. students generally become eligible for placements in the final year.Pacages depend on the company and branch, with some offer going above 4 LPA. the placement cell also helps with interviews and internships. after diploma, many students also choose to continue with higher studies

the curriculum included both theoretical and practical subjects related to computer science ,which matches my interest in technology and career growth . The curriculum provided foundational knowledge ,practical assignments ,and project work that helped in understanding real word application More industry oriented training is suggested the exams were conducted after 6 months every semester some times the results are delayed by university

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

"The Best college"

Faculty of College Is good. All Faculty of College is Well worsed.
Library of the College is Very Good. Having plenty of books. Each Volumes and edition are available to the library.
The Moot Court hall is well equipped. Having all the facilities and modern techniques as well.

Dislikes

The Infrastructure of boys Hostel Should be improved
There is no canteen in college. College can try to open canteen
Parking for Bikes should be improve. College having ample of space for car parking

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chooses this curriculum as I am intrested to do law. Many of students and other peoples praises the college as "Best College of Law" in Marathwada region. To be honest. Really it is best college. Which gives us best curriculum during our academic year. The curriculum of college teaches me how to become a good lawyer. The arguing skills etc. There should be no suggestions from my side just to imrove the course curriculum as it is overall good. The timings and scheduled are fixed by college and university. Generally the exam is in two shifts 10:00 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 5.00pm.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

I like the cleanness of the collage and premise
Very good interaction with other peaceful campus
Another thing i like is the infrastructure good campus amenities and learning facilities

Dislikes

The lab management no sitting arrangement many of the water taps not working ect
The office faculty most of them are rude in behaviour
The parking arrangements not well yet and not allowing any of four wheeler inside the campus

I love pharmacy and i love to see me as an pharmacist i like this profession because i like to see the other pharmacists how they work how they wear the lab coat ect thats why i choose this and as soon i get to know that we can also start a business by having a pharmacy license

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. A best start to earn money

i chose this college as its nirf ranking is below 40 which is higher than many iits in india. other reason to opt this college is that it is a bit nearer to my place compared to other nits in all over india. there was a doubt to chose between branch and college. i shose both by opting eee in nagur nit. admission process is simple. once college is alloted from josaa councelling and csab lucky councelling, joining date and approval of admission will be released which helps you jpoin and treach college on time. after reaching here, student mentors from 3rd year help freshers in every step of admission and complete in 2 hours atmost. after everything has done, a hostel room and roommate is alloted as per allotment scheme and you can happily explore college and join our hostel which feels like a swcond home....Read More
