Remarks

My college was one among the best college in the state of odisha

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was good for commerce and it helped in creating a strong base for me to take up accounting profeesion at present. All 3 years we got practical training for tally accounting application which is quite helpful to get any job in accounting line

Placement Experience

2

It didn't provide any such thing for commerce graduate but was there for BBA Students. There was no campus placement for us.

College Events

4

Annual day was celebrated every year where many students participated in different competition as per individual talent. We had different game, cultural events etc in annual day competition.we also celebrated Saraswati Puja, Ganesh Puja, Independence day, Republic day etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

Little expensive for me as that time our family was not in good shape. Don't remember my exact fees amount. We paid it in the fees counter of college. There was no additional fees to get admission. Everything was given in it's brochure. There was transperancy in fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offered different scholarship to students as per there achievement like sports scholarship, scholarship for the topper of the college etc. But I didn't opt for any scholarship

Campus Life

Both boys and girls studied together in our college. We were having different cultural programs where we participated. College also had cultural society. There was no race diversity for boys and girls but there was seat reservation for ST, SC and OBC for admission.

Hostel Facilities

Yes- stayed at college hostel. First year we stayed in dormatary structured room with 19 other student. Second and third year in seven sharing room. We were given food twice a day. There was a small canteen inside hostel where we got snacks for evening and morning

Alumni/Alumna

I really found very good friends and seniors during my college life who were very helpful. Spent most memorable moments with my friend those days.

Admission

I got admission in the college through entrance exam. This was one of the best college at bhubneshwar. I wanted to study with commerce and so opted B Com and also didn't want go far from my hometown. I wanted to study in a good college having good curriculum so I had choose this college.

Faculty

4

That point of time faculties were also good . They Imparted us with best of there knowledge. We had almost 15-20 lecturers for our course with average age of 40-45 years. All were well qualified. Lecturers were just profeesor and didn't have any industry experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

sociology as an academic discipline is really sought after in the recent times. it is considered as one of the most sought elective chosen by the upsc aspirants and the discipline in itself gives you a great chance at understanding your society and other societies about how they function amd operate, provides knowledge about various cultures, health, environment, city structure and so much more. you can pursue higher studies or go for NET exams right after post graduation. you can also work with ngos and other nonprofit organizations. each semester is ideally of 6 months and two exams are there. the difficulty level of exams would range from moderate to high

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
