Remarks

It is a very nice college but it still lacks somethings.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is an advanced course curriculum. it satisfies all the minimum requirements for a student to learn. it also provides outside world knowledge by providing summer internships. It also gives us (students)of the private sector. In 3rd year we have industrial tours which helps our practical skills.

Placement Experience

3

It is actually not so good for our mechanical and civil department s. I am not saying that others departments got it well. But we far from good package in our department. we even heard that they tried to hire mech student for a 10 k per month salary. But this year we saw some bigger companies. we even got a internship course.

College Events

4

We don't have that much cultural events. But our major event is akshara which is both cultural and technical event. it is actually a 1 week or 3 days programme. it divides half of the time limit for both cultural and technical activities. The preparation starts before 2 weeks of the programme. it happens during march of every year. we even have some other events during engineer s day, and also during festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is actually a low fees structure for a autonomous institution. it is 78, 000 without any schlorship. My opinion is it pretty reasonable. but we have jntu fees which from 1st year to all 3 years. But I Don't think bus fees are fare when I compare them other top colleges in my state it is more than what it needs to be paid. I pay 26000 for 20 km distance from my home to college. it changes accordingly to the distance.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, at the interactive section with our faculty. We have been told that the canara bank near our college will be providing loan with some minimum collateral. If we don't have any collateral then we have to satisfy some academic standards for a loan which means having great academic results. Then we can procedure for a loan.

Campus Life

Campus life is fully vibrant. We have a huge cricket ground and a great mess hall. NSS club is one of the clubs in our college. As I'm a mechanical student there are very less girls in our department. I think there would be no college in india where students are biased based on race, religion. Our cafeteria is one of the examples where anyone can see that they are no differences among us.

Hostel Facilities

I thought of taking it but I didn't because I thought it was already too much and also college hostel fees is not less. I thought about moving to private hostels but my parents thought it wouldn't be such a wise option but private hostel were actually great than I thought and the fees was also very less.

Alumni/Alumna

They are actually some friends in that college before I joined there. They stay near my home. I asked there opinion before joining the college. After I went into the college I interacted with other seniors. There were actually quite friendly.

Admission

I got this college through my eamcet rank. I opted for this during my first councelling. I already know pretty much about that college. It is an autonomous institution it is one of the major factor for any student who joined there. It is also very lively and I already asked some passed outs before joining for a better opinion.

Faculty

3.5

There are very strict about our academics. we have very experienced faculty. We even have few doctorates teaching us. we even have some guest lectures but they are pretty rare. They have very accurate imagination of how to teach students which comes off because of their experience. They also have doubt sessions which I think are very useful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Highest package is around 58 lakhs after doing mba and the average package is around 10.5 to 11 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is work for a couple of years maybe.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
