Remarks
I am happy recommend my college to all my friends and relatives. There are no flaws that affected me during my 4 years of study. We have got the best faculty in the world for us. They mould us as their own children caring and teaching us all the things even the slightest one. Once you get passed of from this college you will be proud to announce to the public that this college has played a most important part in my life and you wish if it hadn't ended.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum and exam structure is relevant. Curriculum provides with brief knowledge about our opted course and make us a expert in those. They train in almost every areas of expertise. A wide no of companies usually come for recruitment. Placements are offered during last year. Industrial visits are also offered to students once in every 3years.
Placement Experience
Many companies visit the campus for recruitment. Mainly IT field companies are visiting more. Companies such as Wipro,Bosch,Byju's App,Tcsion etc visits for placements. You should achieve a sgpa of over 6.0 with no back logs to appear for placements. There will be an aptitude test followed by screening process and finally an interview before getting placed in a company. Training sessions will be provided for the students from 2nd year onwards to prepare them for the tests and interview that will appear during their last semester ie 4th year of study. Students can also do many internships as per their convenience and choices.
College Events
National level tech fest is held for alternate years with a duration of 2days. Arts fest also conducted every year. College level tech fest is also conducted every year. Many workshop sessions, technical and non technical competitions, speaker sessions, TEDx talks are also conducted and students participate in all the events eagerly.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee for 4year btech course is 75000INR/year. College charges an additional amount of 10000INR/year. 1lakh donation should also be provided at the time of admission which you will get in return when you pass out at the end of 4th year. Fee concession are only for students with such scholarships and for students with less then 2000 rank in the entrance exam. Fees can be payed either offline or online.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college totally support scholarship opportunities. College also offers scholarship of all kinds. The eligibility criteria will be based on grade and marks level. Scholarships upto 25000 INR are offered. Students can also avail the scholarships from outside and contact the college and share the details to get the approval from the management.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is almost 50:50. Many student groups are developed in our college to support many educational organisations. Many of the students are encouraged to work for these groups. International recognised groups such as IEEE,IEDC,PES are the some of these. College support all the religious beliefs and cultures. It does not provide inequality of discrimination to any of the students of other members. There are no political party issues or groups within or outside the campus. It's a ragging free campus. Ragging is fully eliminated and law breakers will be strictly punished.
Hostel Facilities
No, I have not opted for hostel. hostel rooms can be available as attached or non attached. Non attached rooms will be shared by 3 students. The rooms are meet the standard quality to meet every demands. Hostel admission should be taken separately with the concern of hostel warden. Hostel fees is also paid separately.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumini network is very helpful. They are always there for you in any needs. They groom us to be a better student and engineer. They share their knowledge and experience with us. They help in creating an everlasting bond between seniors and juniors. There will be no separation as such seniors and juniors we will be always together as a group.
Admission
First of all you need to appear for the entrance exam organised by the respective state. In Kerala the exam you have to write is KEAM. After the publishing of result you can opt for the colleges you wish to join through a form. I got this college during the first allotment. Overall 3 allotments are given for each student. Admission dates and process will be informed in the websites of respective colleges. We need to carry the necessary certificates with you and need to pay the first installment tuition fee as DD or chalan payment when taking your admission. I was interested to study about electrical related course so I opted for electrical engineering.
Faculty
Trained, expert, qualified and experienced faculties are there for you in every step towards your success. An average of 7-8 hours are slotted to complete each modules of a subject. A subject consists of 6 modules each. Average age of faculties range between 30-40. All the faculties share their knowledge and clarity about the subjects in a profeesional way that you can clearly understand. Seminars, presentations and lab sessions are also made to interact with students. Application based knowledge is also provided. Once you pass out you will be a complete engineer.
