Remarks
Obviously, I looked at the kind of exposure it provided which really motivated me, I mean there are tons of opportunities here, and it is totally up to us to make the most out of them. Coming to placement record, it is alright honestly, I mean a lot of companies come here, if the big companies come, they select very few students which is obvious, and then mass recruiting companies also come.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus keeps on updating to match the industry standard, I would say 50% of faculty is very helpful. The studies are not very tough, and there is plenty of study material available to refer to. You have libraries here, where you can get books and issue them. Also, you can personally contact your professor for any doubt on the LPU Live app, the university's official app for students and professors.
Placement Experience
Tanya Arora ex-cse student of LPU got 42 lakhs package in amazon but applied off campus. And Amazon also gave packages between 13-30 lakhs to several students in our college.
College Events
Almost every day we have technical events, and then there is always a craze of cultural events in LPU's air, two of them being, SPECTRA event and ONE WORLD event. TO build up your achievements, you can participate in competitions and acquire certificates. There are also guest lectures, seminars, workshops that gives you insight and more in-depth knowledge related to your field.
Fees and Financial Aid
I availed 50% (max) scholarship via LPUNEST exam. If you want to get scholarship on the basis of your 12th or JEE exam, you can do so but the max scholarship is 50 %, and it will decrease as your rank or marks decrease in JEE or 12th board or LPUNEST exam
Campus Life
Wide varieties of sports available here, you can join the teams but first you will have to appear for their trial, if you want to play for leisure, then they an indoor gym for badminton, swimming, etc where you have to pay membership fees for playing. Cricket, football, basketball ground don;t require any fees so you can bring your own stuff there and play
Hostel Facilities
there are several hostels here, each one have their own mess, market, laundary office, warden office, canteen, and elevators. It is always advised to book your hostel room as soon as possible because they get acquired very quick and then of course the price goes up as then you would have to opt for rooms that are either 2-seater or 1-seater.
