Remarks

College overall is very good it is strict and I personally feel in some way it is for the benefit of students there is no ragging all are very cooperative.

Entrance Preview

MH-CET was the entrance examination my dad is a civil engineer and I had interest in civil engineering. Civil engineering offers lot of job opportunities both in private and public sector.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is standard. Teaching I would say is low in some subjects and brilliant in other subjects. Lots of practicals so good practical knowledge. Also exam pattern is such that one gets in depth and clear understanding of subjects unlike university examinations.

Internships Opportunities

No college didn't provide internship to my branch Internship was through personal level. Stipend of such internships was 10,000₹ approximately.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are good. You are sure of your placement if you are an average person in college. In core companies, placement related to civil is 50-60% and is a cakewalk if your concepts are clear. Companies like L&T, Mahindra EPC, SP, etc for core and for mass placements Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, etc came.

College Events

5

Technical festival- Mindspark is a national level fest and one of the biggest in Maharashtra and most sought after event of the year. Almost all colleges participate in this fest. Sports fest- Zest is also a national level fest and almost all colleges participate. There are lots of sports in the fest. Management fest- Entrepreneurship week cultural events for whole week boat Club event is unique to our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible as compared to private if we see relative benefits like food quality, quality education and placements education fee- 60,000₹ approx per year, Hostel fee- 10,000₹ approx per year mess fee- 2000₹ approx per month all these are for a general candidate also full accommodation available for girls.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't take scholarship facility or loan facility my friends took like Shahu scholarship or something else which I'm not sure. SBI bank is there within college premises so I think easily loan facility will be avalaible.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is awesome students are very cooperative gender ratio is also good 40(girls)-60(boys) Diversity- Students come from almost all parts of Maharashtra state. Also, due to nri quota, students from gulf countries also come to study. Apart from this there is a student exchange program. There are various clubs for debate, robotics, history, etc which enhances students personality and make their life enriching.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There are four students in a room allotted as per merit every year. Hot water facility is available. No tv room and indoor sports facility available in hostel boundary. Food is perhaps the best mess food avalaible in pune city. Breakfast in the morning followed by lunch then evening breakfast and at last Dinner. Sunday they have special food in lunch and dinner is off.

Alumni/Alumna

I'm new alumni there is alumni met in college after some years also senior network is strong and it helps in future career progression.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs make it hectic but in a way it is very beneficial. Exams were like 10 - 30 - 10 - 50 marks pattern in a semester. And labs are almost daily of 2hrs mostly after lunch. But still you are free by 5pm daily and Saturday and Sunday are of.

Admission

After results of MH-CET were out, there was a form which need to be filled on the basis of which you would be called and offered various streams. Administration is good...very disciplined. Also there are lots of extra curricular activities goin on all over the year like Techfest and sports fest, etc.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is good. Have good knowledge related to their subjects some faculties are less proficient and lack adequate knowledge. But they are hard working and work hard to convey their knowledge and subject. Qualification of faculties is very good, in fact almost all of them are PhD's.

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud, iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
