Remarks

TMI is one of the most renowed institutions in the country to persue nautical science. I always wanted to be a naval officer and so wanted to persue nautical science. Moreover the infrastructure, coure curriculum and faculty encouraged me to be admitted to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers in the college are very experienced and well qualified and most of them are retired navy officers. Their teaching style is also very unique and they make sure that the students do not face any difficulty. The curriculum is also very relevant.

Top recruiting companies who offer placement opportunities to the students in the college include Chevron, Stena, NYK, Teekay, Maersk etc.

College Events

The college has a number of societies such as the Academic Assistance Club, Community Service Club, Sports Club, Adventure Club, Debate Club amongst many others which provide numerous co curricular opportunities to the students.

Campus placements begin in the 7th semester . COmpanies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant and Wipro visit regularly. Around 50 percent get placed , not all by college but by themselves.

My Review on ICEM, Parandwadi, Pune.

Remarks:

I applied to this college only because it's cut off score for MHT-CET exam was near about my own score in the same exam, I was not eligible for any good colleges in Pune or Pimpri-Chinchwad limits. Frankly, there are no strong and good points to suggest this college to anyone. College is situated in Parandwadi village, from Pimpri the distance is 21 kms one side, the transport facility provided by the college is worst, the placement cell has given up on jobs related to Mechanical field, the college stresses more on submissions rather than actual Teaching-Learning process, many of the practical setups are under maintenance. Lastly, if you have to do Engineering anyhow, that too near Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities, then ICEM should be your last option.

I applied to IMU Kolkata,Mumbai Port campus and Chennai alongwith it I also applied to AMET. A review about my institute

12 th pass with 60% in pcm and 50% in English. 10th pass. You can find the application form on the Tolani Maritime Institute website. Application fees is 1500. It depends after the imucet examination. First candidate need to appear for the imucet examination and then after when he or she passes the exam with good rank than that individual he she can apply the form for tolani maritime institute which is available on the tmi website. Reservation doesn't happened here according to me. I exactly don't know the reservation process. See according to me there is no need for any improvement in tolani maritime institute. one thing they can do is that they take their own examination namely tmisat and after that interview takes place but the interview was online and according to me it should happen offline and also physical test should be there because there are so many candidates who are not physically fit.
