LPU - One of the most beautiful campus

My reason for choosing this college was the amount of scholarship they provide as well as the great campus. The beauty of the campus was the main attraction. If I talk about scholarship then one can grab up to 40% scholarship on tuition fees. The admission process is quite simple in July, you need to visit the college for document submission and the rest of the things such as fee payment and admissions updates were done online. In August, our classes got started. You should opt for this college as it has very simple admission criteria as well as a good amount of scholarship can be availed. The visited a lot of websites at the time of college selection. Most of all, I got proper information on shiksha.com and opted this college.

Since class 11th I was a bright student in Computer Science. I scored 99 in Computer Science in my 12th CBSE board exam. I always wanted to be a software developer that why I choose this program. If I talk about the faculty-student ratio then it is 1:1 since each student in the college has been assigned to a personal mentor. Every faculty member in LPU is a PHD. holder in their own subjects. If I talk about the teaching method then it is quite average as in every engineering college. They focus more on academics as compared to the skills. The term exams happen twice a semester first is the midterms and second is the end terms. It was not that much difficult for me to pass the exams. The quality of the questions is always balanced. So, studying a week properly prior to the exams can help you grab good grades.

Companies such as Paytm, Samsung, Cognizant, etc arrive our college for Internship for the roles of SDE with an average stipend of 30000 per month. They mostly consider development projects, academic scores and skills for the selection of Intern.

After the end of the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Some of the big MNCs such as Google, Amazon, Deshaw and many more visit our college campus. Last year around 536 companies came to our college. The highest package was 46 lakhs per annum and the lowest package was 4 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students who get placed is 40%. I want to work in a tech giant after getting the degree.

If I talk about the fee structure of my program then my tuition fees per semester are Rs. 90,000 without scholarship ship. The hostel fees vary according to the seater of the room you opt for and also the hostel fees in paid for the whole year in the starting of the year. The mess fees also vary according to the food type you select. I got a 40% scholarship, considering my CBSE board marks. Right now, I'm in my second year. So, I didn't got any on campus job till now.

The annual fest is organised in the month of February and is named as Youth Vibe. Other than this so many fests are organised but they don't have any specific month. LPUs library is ranked as the biggest college library in the whole of North India. It has a rich collection of books and journals of every kind. Classrooms are designed as per our needs such as sockets under every desk as we have to work on the laptop. The laboratories are fully equipped with all the required necessary devices and equipment. Sports and extracurricular activities are the best part of my college as LPU supports every kind of talent of the students. The college provides all the required necessities for sports and extracurricular activities. There are hundreds of student clubs, social groups and many websites owned by the students of LPU.

I've opted for 3 seater room with attached toilet and bathroom. We were provided with a bed, table, chair, almirah, mirror and a balcony in our room. The meal quality of the mess is average. The menu is specific according to the days of the week and the whole big chart is pasted in the mess. The registration process for hostel and affordability was combined in the admission process.

For admission in LPU, I gave an entrance exam called LPU Nest. The topics of the written test were Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of class 12th. Students with any Kota didn't have to give any entrance exam. I prepared for LPU Nest just as I prepared for my CBSE Board class 12th exam.
