Remarks

One of the reputed colleges in Maharashtra. It offers 9 UG courses/degrees. If you are going for computer science go and take it. Placement is really good when compared to other colleges. The admission process is based on the MH-CET merit basis. For higher branches like computer science, entc, mechanical your rank should be in <1000. Admissions start in the month of June. The reason for referring to this college is it gives a really good atmosphere, it has hundreds of clubs to join, four-five big events, regatta, DJ nights and all.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Good faculty members. Faculties are qualified from reputed universities such as IITs, IISc, etc. There are 2 midterm exams of 20 marks each and one end sem exam of 60 marks per semester. Mid sem exams are easy but end sem exams are tough.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Yes, the college offers internships also. Companies such as Goldman Sachs , MasterCard, Bajaj, etc offer a stipend. Many more companies also visit which I have not mentioned here. Mini project is given in 6th sem.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for the placement. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Citi bank, Bajaj, Tata motors, Persistent, Cognizant, etc visit for the placement. The highest package offered goes up to 40 LPA. The percentage of students placed is 80-90 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees are 84000 rupees for the general category and there is a fee waiver for obc and sc, st categories. College provides many government and private scholarships, as well as scholarships, are given by alumni association also.

Campus Life

4.5

Annual fests such as Gathering, Regatta, Zest, Impressions, and tech fest such as Mindspark are conducted by the college. There are plenty of books in the library whichever you want you can get there. A sports event called Zest is conducted every year by the college. Clubs such RSC, CST, CSAC, Cultural, Drama, Dance, Science clubs, etc

Interview Experience

4.5

There is no GD or PI for admission. The criteria for admission is only a CET score. There are 3 cap rounds and one additional round of the admission process. Take part in these rounds in online mode and get admission after you get your preferred branch.

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud, iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
