Remarks

After 10th I decided to choose a college which is better in terms of studies and facilities so Thakur was the best option nearby (Kandivali). Admission process:- after my 10th completion I made a list of 3 colleges out of 10 because these 3 were my priority college at that time. As its a private college the college took me in the first merit list of Mumbai University. If you want to wait for another college response from the list made then wait for another list to get declared. So I wanted Thakur. Guys don't be immediate visit college 1 week before admission starts. So, then I got every necessary info. Required after visiting the college, the docs to be taken and how is the infrastructure and facilities, etc. When admission starts you have to take a form from the windows situated at the ground floor .its easy to fill, fill it up and give it to the teacher with important docs like Aadhar card, school leaving certificate, DD(demand draft)in favour of tcsc (Thakur college won't accept cash/cheque.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

In my 11th I was in commerce so fycom the exam pattern was like 4 units and 2 semesters. After studying there 2 years I can say that the teachers are well educated with years of experience with well certified B.ED degree (OBVIOUSLY). There are 6 lectures (not exact time, changes accordingly) mainly of 1 hour each 1 teacher handle 120 students. There are only a few teachers who dominate the whole class with their teaching and interactive skills or else the students dominate the teacher. Very friendly and always ready to clear the doubt(every teacher is like that only ask as many times they will teach nicely). Takes sessions of asking the students about what happened in the class and about the topic before the end of the lecture. I never faced difficulty in passing any exams until now.

Placement Experience

2.5

I was there only till 12th so dont have many ideas but in commerce, I know that the provide a starting package of 63000/- from many companies. My future plans are to be c.a. with a b com degree. Around 60% of the students good at interview get the jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

11TH and 12TH the fees us sane for both the years. If pursuing BCom then 28000/-. The fees are too high but looking at the convenience and faculty the college worth the money we pay. The best thing if you pursue a particular course in TCSC the job is mainly in your hand as THAKUR is reputated college and the probability of getting a job us high. Scholarships are provided but you have to invest in it too (still okay its pocket friendly).

Campus Life

4.5

Its the main highlight of this college:- 1)The campus is large and clean with a xerox printer shop at the corner which is cheaper than other stores outside. Just giving an idea. Once enter the main college gate in front will be a huge campus in the left will be admission processes, fees and forms enquiry, etc. From the middle in front, you will get a gymkhana you can join there as a sports students (also into college championship holds their). Now from the middle if you walk left and then front you find a canteen great hygienic and various foods are available. Passing that canteen will let you into quadrangle it's large and in quadrangle there are many events are performed like TARAANGAN, many Music Shows, once there was a concert of DJ MARY FERRARI (I was there, IT was nearby college somewhere) FAST FOOD FEST for science lover tech fest are also performed in our college. The library is huge and books are available in abundance silent and huge.

Clara's College of Commerce, Bachelor of Management Studies [BMS]
Reviewed on Sep 10, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chooses this curriculum as I am intrested to do law. Many of students and other peoples praises the college as "Best College of Law" in Marathwada region. To be honest. Really it is best college. Which gives us best curriculum during our academic year. The curriculum of college teaches me how to become a good lawyer. The arguing skills etc. There should be no suggestions from my side just to imrove the course curriculum as it is overall good. The timings and scheduled are fixed by college and university. Generally the exam is in two shifts 10:00 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 5.00pm.

Reviewed on Oct 5, 2021(Enrolled 2017)

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.
