Remarks

Good Aspects: 1.Event Management is the key that interacts with me to choose LPU. 2.Unity in Diversity is the aspect that helps to motivate me to talk or get to know people from other countries. Bad Aspects: 1. Bad about LPU is only that they build no. Of buildings in no time. Admission Procedure to take admission in the college is quite simple as through the admission portal website of lpu and you have to register there for further details. The reason behind choosing this college over others is that I like the infrastructure, campus view, and placement records.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course because of my interest in technology and the IT sector. The faculty-student ratio is somewhere equal as their faculty behaves like your own friend who motivates you, inspires you, helps you whenever you feel low in any type of condition and situation. Talking about the Qualification of faculties, they are well-educated tech, having PhD degree and the method of teaching is quite good as there are projectors in every class with the help of that all students can easily understand the topics. Term exams happen twice a year i. E. One of 1st Sem and other if 2nd sem which help in the month of April-May and November - December respectively. Exams are moderate in difficulty as the paper is set to be accurate with an easy, medium, and hard question.

Internships Opportunities

BYZU's, Bosch, Wipro, and more took students for internships of 5-6L/yr stipend. Projects can be of the IT sector and outcomes to take company desires on top. Projects are highly achievable in android, web development, data analyst, and more.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, WIPRO, BOSCH,BYZU's, and many more. Offer made by the company are of average 10L/yr The highest package was 42L given to Tanya Arora by Google last year in 2019. And the average package is 8Lakh. The average percentage you need to qualify for placement is 8 CGPA. To get settled in my job and with a high profile will seek good experience in the upcoming future

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition Fees per semester in Btech CSE is 98000. The fees policy is quite good as people who have and ability to score well in LPU Nest and has a good percentage in previous qualifications have the opportunity to get a good scholarship for different phases. 12th Scholarships are there which is determined to!: 96-100% : 40% 91-95: 30% And so on.LPUNest Score Scholarships : Top 10% : 40% Top 11-20%:30% And On-Campus Placements are one of the best parts of the college. On-Campus Placements of Btech CSE are 99.4%

Campus Life

Annual fests are Youth Vibe, One India One world, Marathon, etc. TECH fests are: Hackathon and more LPU has three libraries: one is the main library and two are department libraries. Book collections are great as it is infrastructured on 3 floors. Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities: A number of Events happen everyday in college and LpU has the biggest indoor stadium in Asia. Lpu provides each and every Sports Activity like Cricket, Football, Taekwondo, Judo, and more. Clubs run by students are Club20, Jhankaar, and 100 more.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in the room are Bed, Table, Chair, Electricity, and Geyser Facilities. Meal Quality is not quite good and many students opt for the meal from outside canteens. The registration process for a hostel is quite simple as from your LPU Admit Credentials you can book. LPU Law gate.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Likes

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Big campus and beautiful garden and environment
Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
