I always wanted to be a doctor right from my young age and through this, I get an opportunity to serve many people. I got a chance to learn something that I wanted from my young age. I wanted to join a very prestigious institution and that stood as the only reason for me to select ITS Dental College and Hospital.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are well qualified and experienced in public management and health. They tell us about the duties which revolve around performing reconstructive surgery & tooth extractions. Assignments are given to us on a regular basis so that we learn the different types of dental diseases and learn how to make our patients comfortable on the dental chair.

Placement Experience

The job roles that are offered in social dentistry are dental surgeon public health manager, oral pathologist dental assistant ceramist The employment areas are in government sector community health care services NGOs practitioners in railways military hospitals and professors in colleges The starting package ranges from 4 to 7 LPA according to the position Internships are mandatory in dental hospitals so that the students can get expertise in commission dental services and implements other programs related to social.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees are 6L. One time registration fees of 10,000 need to be deposited at the start of the semester. There are no clinical fees involved in this. The room rent for a hostel with A.C facility is 1,10,000. The mess & laundry charges are 60,000 and 6000 respectively which makes a total of 1,76,000.

Campus Life

Sports activities such as football, table tennis, volleyball, badminton etc are regularly conducted by the sports cell of the college to encourage them to participate in sports. Yoga and dance sessions are held every weekend. Workshops on topics such as research methods & epidemiology, evaluation and planning of oral health, behavioural/social science applied to dentistry, determining the health issues of dental community etc. The annual fest is also conducted at the college which includes activities such as ramp walk, fashion design, photography exhibition, pottery, making wax candles, face painting, t-shirt dyeing etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course over MBBS , I LIKE THIS BETTER , you're a specialised doctor just after graduating, you're ready for the outside world, to earn money , better career options . About exams, nothing is too difficult if you study properly. Its normal difficulty if you study its easy ,if you don't study its gonna be hard. Notes system should be removed . More tests should take place like fortnightly test . Dissection is a must.

Admission:

First compulsory eligibility criteria is to pass the 10+2 examination with Biology, Physics and Chemistry and is required to have more than 50% in it or equal to 50%. Secondly, applicants who secure the first eligibility criteria, needs to take the National Eligibility Entrance Test(NEET).

Remarks:

One has to study to pass the session no fale marks are given by the college one also has to attend the class without attendance no one can sit for the exam the security is strict very much discipline in the college.

Remarks:

Wi-Fi enabled campus are there with e-library good medical facilities also available. Laboratories give students the opportunity for practical experience. Libraries are rich in print and e-resourses.
