Remarks

Good aspects are that I have heard from a lot of my friends that Lovely Professional University is best when it comes to providing good MBA courses at a lower price range and after getting admission I got to know that it is mandatory to give presentations for all the students in the class which actually helped me to open up and eases out my fears of public speaking other than that very supportive faculty helps you whenever you need it. Bad aspects are not much as in it is a pure veg campus you are not supposed to take eat nonveg food inside the campus and some policies are very strict. Admission- we have to get a pass to enter the campus from the main gate 2 then we can choose to walk or take taxis inside the campus to reach the admission block. GAVE LPUNEST got the interview call/mail within few days cleared the interview did the photo and thump for id got the welcome KIIT. I preferred LPU because of the cost of education and beautiful infrastructure. I used collegedunia only.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is informative to have 14 certificates from NSE INDIA which was way too beneficial and this course helps to learn about capital markets which are the way too interesting course for me. Faculties are always available for the students whenever in need and I had a class of 12 and sometimes combined classes of 30 to 50 students with 1 faculty for the particular subject. Most of the faculties who taught me are experienced one who had a similar experience in the field as well as teaching and they used case studies real-world examples and helps the student with a fear of stage to speak in front of classes which I believe was the best way of teaching. There were end terms which happen end of the year then assignments and CA which give marks to final marksheets. We moderate to difficult exams but the teaching made those exams easy to crack.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There were multiple companies such as Aditya Birla group, Zomato, but I went for an off-campus internship for my convenience. My project in on depositories so it's a research-based project I made a repost after researching secondary as well as primary and submitted the report which we have to present in front of a panel and we have to go through an oral exam as well.

Placement Experience

3.5

Mostly 3rd semester for MBAs we started getting offers. There were multiple companies such as THINK and LEARN, Axis Bank HDFC bank federal Bank etc some companies used to hire more than 100 some came for 5 or some came for 20 depends upon the companies. I was offered packages of 10 lakhs from the federal bank and the lowest was around 3.5 lakhs. Almost 100 percent of students who want to get placements got placed. I won't go for UPSC exams so I am studying for it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the MBA course is way to low compared to other colleges and the education they are providing is much better in quality. I got the scholarship after clearing LPUNEST exam students can get the scholarship on the basis of merit in graduation or Class 12th got a scholarship of 30000 per sem which is a good amount according to me I got various job offers and the one I liked the most is HDFC bank but I decided to go for higher studies.

Campus Life

4

There were multiple fests conducted and anyone can join the fest. All kinds of books are available in the library with multiple options to choose from and you can even get all the information of books on your UMS id given by university. Classrooms have ACS and whiteboard with projectors easy for faculty to educate as they can use the projector or the board. There were multiple sports and other activities available in campus from clubs to gyms etc but as I was a day scholar I didn't use them very much. I was in finstreet club which is all about the finance-related club we had quizzes we got daily updates on our Whatsapp group about what going on around the world in the finance field.

Interview Experience

5

1) there were two interviews for me after clearing they test some of the questions includes- a) why MBA after BTech? b) what do you know about your course? c) why LPU? d) introduction about myself and my graduation e) why I dint choose post graduation from my previous university process- LPUNEST/ entrance such as CAT/JEE etc. Interview. If cleared then scholarship on the basis of LPUNEST and INTERVIEW and KYC for ID card got the welcome kit. Criteria are to clear the entrance mainly. Preparation - I prepared from books for aptitude and English related topic and gK from newspapers. For interview, I had previous experience with my older university.

Rest everything is good with college, only i have issue with placement, since there are very poor or only core sales job in punjab, college is able to provide that only. You have to work your ass off if you want to get good placement, provided their education quality is good

Remarks:

I completed my BBA from CU and really liked this university because of it's amazing infrastructure and the kind of high level education and practical skills they were providing. It was already decided that I wanted to pursue an MBA program in the long run. I took CAT and was able to score as per CU criteria and I was an alumni of this college only so I was given preference, although the admission was done on merit basis. I also had to pay INR 1000 as the application fee while applying through the official website of the university.

I did my masters from Punjab Institute of Management and Technology and the level of education I got from the college was impeccable. It made me capable enough to successfully start and run and expand my business. I would definitely recommend my college for the sole reason of its precious academics and the supportive faculty. Though the campus life and extracurricular activities are also refreshing and memorable.

The admission process was very smooth. I contacted the college regarding the admission process and informed them that I graduated with a score of 7.8% and then I applied for the counseling and then my application was shortlisted. I chose an MBA course. I did not take any entrance exams.
