College is quite good

Like other colleges, there are pros and cons of this college is good infrastructure. Average to above-average placements. Management is very sloppy, it takes time for a student to fix any issues they are facing. Responded pretty well to the covid-19 pandemic, started the online classes under one week in MS-Teams platform. Varieties of cultural festivals, most state's festivals are celebrated here. Very good hostel facilities. Swimming pool, gym, the indoor tennis court is under construction (which should have completed by the end of 2020. Faculties are pretty average, there are few good teachers who support you very well.

Reason for choosing this course is because I have been coding since 8th. Since this is a new college in Kolkata, there are more faculties yet to come, but currently, there are enough faculties for each dept. Most of the teachers are PhD holders. Exams are held in December and May and the hardness of exams lies between medium and hard.

Many companies like Byjus, Wipro, TCS and more provided internships. The internships are very helpful to learn and get experience. The project that we work on is technical and constructive. The stipend is given ranges between 10k to 50k.

Campus placements are good, almost 80% of students were placed in CSE in 2019. Companies like Wipro, TCS Byjus, and more came to the campus. The highest package was quite good, went above 12LPA. The internships were quite good, 60-80% of students got internships from the campus.

The fees are low compared to other private colleges for the said course since it's a new college. Uptown 100% scholarship is provided according to 12th percentage. The fees increase 5% per year. In the BTech CSE dept, around 80% of students secured a job in 2019 as told by the management.

Many different kinds of cultural festivals that happen inside the campus. Since there are students from all over India, and a few from other countries, many festivals are celebrated here. All the classrooms are facilitated with Air conditioning and projectors. The library is on two floors and has all the necessary books for all dept. There is an online library as well. The sports facilities were under construction and were about to complete at the end of December 2020, which is done by now, but covid-19 has ruined it all.

The hostel accommodation is top notch. All the rooms have air conditioning. 2 people are accommodated in one room. Water heater facility is there for every bathroom. The quality of the meal is better than average, it's eatable. There are three cafeterias. Registration is quite simple and there are enough rooms for all.
