BE Instrumentation Score:74.5% As compare to other colleges in NMU university, this college staff and all facilities provided are I best ever with lowest fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

When I was in college that time the course contents were as per the syllabus designed by the university, but now the college is converted to autonomous, So the syllabus is very useful from technical point of view which is required in industries. The practical labs are equipped very well.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know about the current situation about the internship in college. The college is now autonomous before which I passed out my degree.

Placement Experience

The college is now autonomous, so the faculties are helping the students for placement, and the students are now getting good jobs. After all for the Placement not only the college is responsible but also our performance and dedication is also required.

College Events

There are lots of events celebrated in this college. For freshers fresher party is first event. College level technical events are conducted. Annual gathering is one of the best event. State level technical competition events are also arranged in this college, which improves the capability of students to get knowledge other than technical knowledge. Though they are old but as far as a government college is concerned they are good. Events are being held annually and at National which would be a great experience for our next four years.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible to all categories. All peoples can learn in this college. Only the talent is required. All other facilities provided this college are very amazing in negligible price. the hostel facility is amazing for the middle class students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Amazing hostel facility provided with rs 1300 per year basis which we can consider as scholorship. For OBC or BC categories they are providing good scholorships.

Campus Life

Though they are old but as far as a government college is concerned they are good. Events are being held annually and at National which would be a great experience for our next four years which improves the capability of students to get knowledge other than technical knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

All other facilities provided this college are very amazing in negligible price. the hostel facility is amazing for the middle class students. Hostel facility includes hot water for bath, cold drinking water, room is occupied with only 2 persons, separate bed for each, separate table, chair, window, tube light. amazing in only 1300 rs yearly charge. Mess food is quite good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Network is quite good and the seniors from this college are also good, helpful and supportive in nature.

Exam Structure

Now the college is turned to autonomous, so the exam structure is bit different than the other colleges in which the unioversity is conducting the exams. They are focusing mostly for delivering the practical knowledge to students. Practical exams are focused.

Admission

I submitted the application through CAP round, in first round I got the Instrumentation branch as per my expectations. I procured the admission form from their student store. At the time of admission process, the teachers are guiding to students which was my first and starting experience for this college which is memorable for me.

The college is having hard working, helpful and knowledgeable faculties. The faculties are recruited through MPSC exam conducted by Maharashtra government. Knowledge preview of the faculties is a best as compare to other colleges which are having fresh pass out students as faculties.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari

Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

college have no placement for the students
college having some times electricity short
college have some students water issue for drinking

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.
