Remarks

Lovely Professional university is a big university area wise.Professors in LPU are so good and helpful. LPU's placements are also very very good. Fee structure is also nominal. They even provide scholarship's. LPU's infrastructure is also good. Their hostel facilities are also good specially security. No cases of ragging in LPU.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is really good in LPU. Faculty members are well educated and really really helpful. I choose B.Tech CSE in LPU because of 100% placement. Teaching method of the faculty is really really good. We can ask as many doubts we have. Term exams are not so tough if you will study well.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes LPU provide internships also. You can go for in campus internships also and off campus also. All you have to do is report to your HOD. You can apply for campus ambassador program while being in LPU.

Placement Experience

Placements are reslly good in LPU. 100% placement is there in LPU for B.tech CSE. If no campus placement then you can opt for higher studies or Govt. JOb LPU will provide all the necessary training's.

Fees and Financial Aid

B.tech CSE per semester fee is 90k and they also provide scholarships on the basis of LPUNEST and class 12 percentage. LPU provides Scholarships to SC/ST students and Kashmiri migrants. You can work part time in the campus also.

Campus Life

Campus life in LPU is so good. green lushes gardens and big playgrounds. LPU has a mall inside the campus called Uni mall where you can get everything from food to clothes. Also phone and laptop repair shops. There is Dominos also inside the campus. Swiggy is also in the campus. You can order food from any shop inside the campus .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility in LPU is really really good. Security in the hostels is so tight. It's good for girl students. In summer in girls hostel we have enter before 7pm and in winters before 6pm. We can opt for mess also and if we don't like mess food then we can opt for canteen too. In every hostel there are 2 canteens'. Attached washrooms, one bed,one table and chair and one cupboard is being provided by the hostel. 24 hour free wifi is also available. Ambulance service is also there in hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 1 per year

Admission

I have taken admission in LPU in 2019 in my 2 year of B.Tech.I migarted in LPU from Jain University Bangalore.LPU accepted my admission as I was not having any backlog in my 1 year engineering.

Interview Experience

Admission in B.tech in LPU is on the basis of entrance exam LPUNEST. If you miss this exam then you can take admission on the basis of your class 12 percentage also. There is no interview or GD for B.tech admissions in LPU.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
