Remarks

I chose this college because of the good placements companies coming to heir students increases every time. We have a huge campus, and the teachers are also excellent. I got admission through LPUNEST with a 30% scholarship. Being a private university it provides a huge opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are very helping and also teaches very topic in class. Total sem marks are distributed like we have 3 CA out of which 2 is considered then we have midterm with is MCQ with negative marking that's something I hate about then we have final of 50 witch is 20% MCQ and rest are written so that's ok and 5 marks for attendance above 90%.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Regarding internship, I don't have much idea as I am in 2 years but I know LPU does provide internship and we also have an internship programme in 3 years where they give us training and tell us how to talk and etc. So let's see in 3 years.

Placement Experience

On-campus is not 100% but not bad also if you are studing then you can are 2-3 lakhs and if you are among top then you can get your dream package witch is up to 5-10 lakhs. After getting a degree I want to work in a company with min package of 4-5 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college, there is 20% 30% 40% scholarship my total fess is 110000 and the scholarship is given by LPUNEST exam. Job and placements are not bad in LPU. If your cgpa is greater then 6.5 then u will be allowed to sit in an interview.

Campus Life

College life is very amazing campus is very big, so you can do a lot of fun activity and explore LPU. There are lots of pf clubs which you can join and explore your hobbies. There is very big lib and lots of books are also available.

Hostel Facilities

There are 6 seaters 5 seaters 4 seaters 3 seater 2 seater room. Meal quality is not that much good of mess breakfast and lunch is ok, but dinner is very bad, but there are lots of stoles outside the hostel their food is delicious.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Interview Experience

Yes, an only written exam which was LPUNEST and that's for a scholarship you can get admission without LPUNEST also but if you are able to clear the exam you will get 20% 30% 40% scholarship. You must score above 60% to sit in the exam and the level of exam is very easy.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
