Remarks

The admission process is way simpler than any other college processes. It worked in a smooth way with no such delays provided your all documents are correct. Choosing such a reputed college is a doubtless decision as along with studies a healthy environment is always maintained between teachers and students as well as among seniors too.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is a vocational course. As the name suggests, it is an out of the box course. It gives various opportunities to grow up in the corporate world. It is a course where we can prosper our careers provided you have an interest in the stream you are opting. The faculty is undoubtedly amazing and their teaching methods are as unique as the course. The exams are conducted semester wise and are not too difficult to pass provided you study them.

Internships Opportunities

5

The college offer internship opportunities both off-campus and on campus. Various companies visit for internships such as Genpact, KPMG, IRGS, ICICI Prudential, TCS, Delloite, Accenture etc. The stipend offered varies from 6000 INR to 15000 INR per month.

Placement Experience

5

The Placements are really good in the college. Many such reputed companies come and hire the students. Some of them are Genpact, ICICI Prudential, KPMG, Delloite, TCS, Accenture, SBI, JustDial etc. The highest package goes up to 5 LPA whereas the lowest one went up to 2 LPA. From the very 1st semester, the students get the opportunity of internships. The percentage of students getting placements are above 75%. My plans after getting the degree are to prepare for an MBA and then go for a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is 75,000 for 3 years which is kind of a reasonable cost of studying. Though scholarships are provided on the basis of one's performance in the studying years. Due to COVID, all of the systems turned online, which do not suit each of the students and so the college also provides certain help in terms of laptops.

Campus Life

5

As I am a 1st-year student and hasn't visited the college so I don't know much about the annual fests and various activities. But I can surely tell that the annual fest that is conducted turns out to be really grand and successful each and every year. There are various social groups and societies run for the welfare of the students. Some of them are Illuminer Counsel which provides a platform to debate and participate in various such competitions, NSS which focuses on the welfare of the needy ones, TATVA the Eco Society which focuses on preservation of nature, etc.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

College of Vocational Studies - [CVS], Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Human Resource Management)
Reviewed on Aug 16, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm pursuing Human resource management and as I have mentioned before CVS is the only college providing vocational courses. The reason I chose this course is it is skill based and also i wanted to have a career in HR field. The comprehensiveness and understanding of this subject is quite good, it covers topic that one studies in his or her MBA. Their are areas that need to be improved like practical applicability of the subjects that we are taught, the college should take initiatives to let students use the learnings in a real world scenario by providing them internships or by taking them to corporate visits. The exams are conducted semester wise and their difficultly level is moderate. The exam timings for vocational courses is 2:30-5:30 p.m

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good, Placement cell regularly organizes placement drives, and companies like ktmg, amazon, TCS are invited for the drive. A large population of students sitting for the placement drive get placed with a good package. Students can sit for internships in the second year. The highest package made in my course was 7 lakh per annum. About 93% percent of the students get placed.
