they teachers are very approachable and helpful

Course Curriculum Overview

they course curriculam is quite interesting as my course reatil management and it is a very new course it is very mordern in terms of subjects subjects such as e commerce, reatil display, cargo, etc the couse helps in understanding retail with mordern ways.

there is a placement cell for these in the college they give internship oppertunites, for the students i have not done any such internship under the college , but there are opportunities given mhy our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

the yearly fees of my college is Rs.26675 my fees is more as compared to other batchmates as my course is a vocational course. there are finacial aid available but i did not use any of them for my admission

Campus Life

the overall experience of the campus life is quite good the campus is quite live and fun every other day some events are taking place the library is quite good as well it has a good collection of books and a good environment for studing there are a lot of facilities in the classrooms such as projectors and the college has a lot of interesting socities.

Admission

i choose this college for various reasons such as : the college environment was really important as it shapes ones personality the couse provided by the college was really important as my course was only provided by JMC the admission was made through the process of CUET

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio in general is good but for my course i feel like more teacgers are required the couse structure is quite good and very much focused on the subjects exam system is also of good quality and making scheme is quite understanding

Night Life

my college does not have hostels and it gets end by 4 so there is no actual night life of my college but my colleg is in a very safer area a lot of main markets like khan market, satiya niketan,etc are very near for nightlife.

JESUS & MARY COLLEGE - AN UNDERRATED GEM

Likes

Jesus & Mary College is known for its serene and clean campus. The infrastructure is well maintained and any issues regarding it are promptly addressed.
This college brings students from diverse background together which promotes a holistic development for all . The crowd of JMC stands out again , the students specialise in different sports, art styles and other soft skills .
The BVOC department offers two courses i.e healthcare management and retail management which are practical and designed to help students discover their potential in respective fields.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

Placement Experience:

From the second year people are eligible for internships and placements. Our course and college offers very well placements as compared to other colleges in terms of the industry exposure. My plan is to do the 4- year course and then do a job for 1-2 years then start my own business while pursuing masters degree

The auditorium or we say av hall in av hall we attend seminars counselling which is good for us
The receptionist takes good care and talk politely
The faculties are awesome they are very talented and supportive

Dislikes

The classroom are not well maintained .
The fans in classroom or the boards they should maintain them
And during summers we hate suffer suffocating so ventilation should improve

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is actually quite good I have seen the some of the top hospital to take our college students in them so They will provide placement to everyone the minimum package is around 3-4lacs I don't know about the highest till now

My experience as a first year student in CVS, DU

Likes

The only college providing vocational courses
College has a girls common room and boys common room
The locality is also good, flats and pgs are easily available and also food is easily accessible

Dislikes

New building has not yet been opened despite the construction has been completely
Exam timings for the students pursuing vocational course are 2:30 to 5:30 which makes it too hot in summers
There are a lot biasness over cast aspect

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm pursuing Human resource management and as I have mentioned before CVS is the only college providing vocational courses. The reason I chose this course is it is skill based and also i wanted to have a career in HR field. The comprehensiveness and understanding of this subject is quite good, it covers topic that one studies in his or her MBA. Their are areas that need to be improved like practical applicability of the subjects that we are taught, the college should take initiatives to let students use the learnings in a real world scenario by providing them internships or by taking them to corporate visits. The exams are conducted semester wise and their difficultly level is moderate. The exam timings for vocational courses is 2:30-5:30 p.m

from the 5th semester, you become eligible for placements. Maruti, Hyundai, Shriram pistons, Merceds benz, daimalier, Honda, Behl, Gail, 100+ more companies. 5LPA to 15 LPA is the offered package. 98% of students receive placements annually. My plans are to study abroad after this.

The placements are very good, Placement cell regularly organizes placement drives, and companies like ktmg, amazon, TCS are invited for the drive. A large population of students sitting for the placement drive get placed with a good package. Students can sit for internships in the second year. The highest package made in my course was 7 lakh per annum. About 93% percent of the students get placed.

The Inside Life of JMC

Compared to other colleges this college has better maintainence of campus and also a decorum of students is also maintained. JMC is a beauty!!

Girls college was definitely the priority and only two colleges for which I wanted to go. First was LSR and then JMC. The cut-off for LSR was 763 and for KMC it was 745. If I discuss about my dream college my dream college was lady Shri Ram but I didn't make it as my schools were very low according to the course I wanted. Then I got shortlisted for Jesus and Mary College admission process was very smooth and easy it was one day process within an hour I was free and from the next day onwards my classes started when I first visited to Jesus and Mary college it was very pretty campus. the eligibility of Jesus and Mary is you have to get our 85% in your c u e t and you have to score well in your 12th board exam. The Eligibility of the course was the 12 pass with above 50-60 % with cuet entrance examination. We can find the application form from the official website of cuet and Delhi University. The application form will be available in online mode and can be submitted in online . The application date and the other details will be available in the official website of Delhi University and cuet . There is reservation benefits in JMC for Christian minority, handicapped , OBC, SC and ST but JMC give more priority to Christian minority. Exams are conducted in the end of every semester.
