Maharaja Surjamal Institute is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and ranked 13th amongst 122 Bba colleges in India. and located in west Delhi Janakpuri and the nearest metro station is Janakpuri east.

Course Curriculum Overview

In the BBA during the course, students will study many subjects like cost accounting, digital marketing, e-commerce, etc. In each section 60 students strength. the students have to study 6 subjects per semester and students do summer training projects and final projects during their 4th and 6th semesters. Criteria for internal assessment all theory courses have an internal assessment of 25 marks and 75 for external examination. MAXIMUM &MINIMUM CREDITS OF THE PROGRAM The total number of credits of the BBA program is 140. Each student shall be required to appear for the examination of all courses however for the award of the degree student should secure at least 132 credits.

on the website of MSI, there some companies will you find a list of all companies like google, amazon, Infosys, etc which came to MSI and recruit the students. The average packages were around 3-4 LPA and the highest offered package was around 8 LPA in 2019. but MSI is still better than jobs offered in either ipu college and most of the du colleges as well. this information you also find in placement cell site.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the BBA are around Rs 101000 for one year & a total of fees around Rs 303000. The mode of payment for fees is through draft and online. and there no extra fees charged. the college also provides the breakdown and MSI also provides financial assistance of around Rs 10000 and Delhi government also provide scholarship up to 100% for Ews, obc, sc, st.

in the MSI students come from diverse backgrounds and I'm sure you will find some amazing students like you. the MSI has one of the best campuses in the ipu. it has tasty and affordable food in the canteen and there more than enough eating joint outside the college like Hudson lane.

Likes

I liked my College faculty especially my course faculty that is they are so helpful both in academics and your life decisions and they provide a personal mentoring for your every question about the career and future goals .
Our college environment is also good as our college infrastructure is not that big but the overall zones like lawn area , canteen , playground , library , washrooms are always clean , and the departmental area they are the good ones .
I like my college societies so much , as a part of music society in my college it is so helpful for me to end my full day stress by spending time in the society , our college Annual fests are also the best one among most of the reputed colleges .

Dislikes

I dont like the infrastructure of our college that much because it is not perfect as per my observations , there are many things to be enhanced ,
Placements of our college is not enough as per our expectations .
Student leaders or activist who becomes aa voice of the students are not honest and helpful.

Placement Experience:

Placements from my college is not as i expected but they provide good internships opportunity according to your skills and The average placement package of my college is 6 lakh and highest one is 12 lakh , my plan is to persue MBA after completing my graduation .

I would say I liked the classes like they have a lot of space
The college is fully AIR - CONDITIONED which is very nice
Has 3 canteen that has good food and place to sit while eating

Does not have a proper ground for playing

Campus life is so good, they plan trip every year
I loved the teaching method, the seminars that were conducted were very helpful
Pranav sir, nishant sir, ashish sir they are very supportive and nice. D

Dislikes

There is no ground but they do take you to cricket grounds and tounament is conducted every semester so you can join the cricket team and they will take you there, even for badminton and other sports too

Placement Experience:

Placement are very good. Even like after four semester, you get the opportunity to do internship and almost tap this get placed and according to the calibre, 10,000 50,000 15,000 if I talk about myself, I got an internship at Hero wide of 20,000 so and after that, also, I got the placement in the same company when they came for the place along with three swim. We also placed in the same and next year when I sit in the next place, they help me in getting a job Italian's partner or what else can be better than this that they treat their student as a family. Even after when you're passing out, you don't feel like You are left out or you can't go again, so this is a thing which is really great about our college.

Societies are active, there is a lot of scope for extra curricular activities in college
The faculty is helpful in terms of academics.

Administration doesn’t follow through with plans
Classrooms and canteen have obsolete seating.
Placements could be better although they’re alright.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester onwards. Many companies came and the highest placement was 23 LPA last time. Some courses get less placement than others but overall the opportunities are alright.

I applied for Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's known as the SRCC of GGSIPU and it has the highest placement packages in comparison to any other Colleges of GGSIPU and it is ranked the top college of GGSIPU so I opted for admission here and no I didn't get rejected from any universities I got admitted to the one I wanted it's just that you require alot of patience and need to be active about the admission forms being out and all. To get admission in the BBA program at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, a student must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, with English as one of the core, elective, or functional subjects. Admission is primarily conducted through the IPU CET exam held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, students can also be admitted through CUET if their name appears in the merit list and their rank is below 500. Based on the CET or CUET rank, candidates are called for counseling where seats are allotted.
