Remarks

Good at teaching faculty and have good campus placement and infrastructure. My friend give me suggestion of this college and gain some information from college website, and from quora review blog website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually my aim was for the MBA so I decided to choose BBA and many of my 12th teachers suggested that BBA will be best for this. Faculty is somewhat good on teaching not so excellent but ya moderate, not so good infrastructure. Student ratio is too moderate approx 120 students of two sections of bba department, teaching method is not so good, in my opinion it is poor. Approx after every six months terms exams are conducted, and in timely. Difficulty level of exam is moderate not too much difficult or neither too easy, if studied well you gonna qualify the exam and want to get a good Mark's then will have to study effective and smart.

Placement Experience

After the 5th semester students became eligible for campus placements. My companies visited like TCS, wipro, Infosys, IBM and many more average salary package is around 20000 to 25000 and highest is around 30000 per month. My plan after getting the degree is to qualify for GMAT or GRE and to apply for MBA in abroad.

College Events

This I can you for sure that the campus social life is very fascinating and good they conducted college feast, freshers party, annual function every year. They too conduct various sport activity at the end of every year, and many more types of seminar and cultural activities, and may more. Moderate availability of books and journals. Amenities are not soo good, various types of sports and extracurricular activities such as - chess, badminton football, cricket, carromboard and many more sports activities are organized, and in extracurricular activities they organized photography competitions, dance, singing and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Don't know about scholarship too well but fee structure is like 41800 for each term, and as for the financial assistance you should get in touch with the campus officials they will get you know about this better.

Admission

Yes you have to give a written test of cet which is conducted by the state officials you have to qualify this, and for admission criteria you must have 60% above in your 12th exam.

Fixed timetable Classes, regular assessment and class test
The professors are very qualified and their teaching style is excellent.
A lot of books are available in the main library as well as in the department library

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus and curriculum of Calcutta University is aligned with other entrance examination (eg.IIT JAM, JEST, TIFR, GATE etc.) Specially for the Physics BSc course. And the syllabus is updated Artificial intelligence bacis, Python Advance level is in syllabus, it's completed in college. Point to be Noted - The time given to prepare for the exam is sometimes ample but sometimes it is very less. So we have to prepare syllabus in time which is little bit frustrating.

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

I always wanted to take up Journalism as a career and the thing which caught my attention in this college is that they have a fully equipted studio room and other colleges may have one but the students even publish there own news report here it prepars us very well for the real world

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

The Framework is said to be great, with well equipped classroom and simply get to the libraries.
The offices at this college are great. In any case, these changes depending on the quality of the companies going by the college and the victory of the internship changes by the internship.
Understudies appreciate the campus life and flexibility to associate with others understudies. However, there are few impediments such as the division of floors between senior and junior. College life is nice and could be an inviting place for others

Dislikes

The college doesn't have lodging, and understudies must organize their settlement locally.
The college doesn't have a big field to play like any other big college

Placement Experience:

In Syamaprasad College placements and internships are given to the final year students. And the companies that offer placements are Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest package goes up to 20-24 lakhs and the average package goes to 6-8 lakhs. 70-80% of students get their placement in my college. At that time I planned to get the degree and apply to a multinational company with a high salary package with company facilities.

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

obviously other governments colleges ike JU , JGEC and CU are better than it but our college placement is better than otehr privet colleges and the environment of our college is best for study.
