Remarks

College is a Government Institution. So college have to obey all the government orders and rules according to the university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually the course curriculum and exam structure are decided by the university itself. The college do not have any right to conduct exams except internal exam which is the criteria to attend University exams. The overall curriculum and examination structures of the university is one of the best available in the Kerala.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience

College have Placement Cell which assist you for placements. Lot of students are placed form the 3rd year itself. Internships and placements are different for different departments.Internship are easy to acquire for all students. placement depends on your skill and performaces.

College Events

There are lot of Events and programs.We do celebrate everything we can.There are technical fests every year, cultural fests, department events and lot of others also. These are best times of college. All of these are conductedby students.Some of the fest will allow participation of other college too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Rs 8000 anually. One of the cheap and affordable fee structure in india.During admission we have to pay about 15000 including bus fee, deposit and other small fees. later we have to pay 8000 anually. For those who have egrantz scholarship, only 2500 is needed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are Several scholorships available for students. The college have designated section and staffs for informing students about the scholarship at the respective time.Egrantz and MCM are the best scholarship available for students. MCM scholarship amount varies through the year according to th academic performance of student.

Campus Life

Its one of the student friendly campus in kerala.The one of 2 government engineering colleges you can find on a town area in kerala.You can find some political party issues at college which is depended on your political stand.All the laboratory and workshops are available for all departments.Robotics clubs are there named Robocek.Sports are also one of the best supported events in campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facilities are available for all students. Mens and ladies have seperate hostels. ladies hostel is at a walking distance whereas mens hostel is about 600m. Hostels are allocated according to students distance from their house to college.Single room for 4 students. Common bathroom and mess hall. Rent is 200rs per month, very cheap. Mess bill varies by month.

Alumni/Alumna

There are alumni groups which work for the favour of students and College. One of the Greatest Educational App Byjus app founder Byju is an alumnus of our College.

Admission

It is a government college so so we have to go for the allotment process which is done by the the government.after the entrance examination we have to upload our Higher Secondary marks so so they will consider our both marks for admission procedure. Then we can prioritise our preferences of courses we like to the the admission to all of the the engineering colleges under Kerala Technological University.

Faculty

Faculties of all department and good. they all are very supportive for everything you needed inside the campus. They are inevitable for your exams,projects and anything for the academics.you can meet them at anytime you needed. They will help you for any academic related needs.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The college ambiance is good and green campus and plastic free
Lot of plants are trees are situated in the campus
The campus maintain the rules and regulations of the campus

In my course the qualified teachers are not allowed
Very less programmes are available in the college,
The canteen is not well developed and ambiance is poor

Curriculum of my course is good it covers all about the subject and its give a good knowledge about the subject and the teaching method and the hours of a topics also good. But the syllabus is not good for the timely complition.

The college campus is not that much big and it's fine for us. There is taking new building and the working is still processing.

The raging issue have in our college. And I don't really like that thing in our college.There may seniors get suspension because of it sometimes it's get serious that their parents will come. Its ok if the raging is for some fun and just asking but i
There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.

The college is situated in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram
We can easily access the town and major places

Likes

Better hygeine , clean and peaceful surronding for a student to study.
Extra curricular activities: like sports , arts , quiz competition , cme programs are held for better purpose
Lab facilities are presnet for better teaching .

No proper campus for relaxation and extra time after college.
Building is under construction with workers most of the time.

The curriculum we follow is cbme and they provide with us a better competitive areas and competancy based learning. We have feild works and community works than the collge areas . Will let the student to think out of the frame . The exam that are held in colleges are mostly difficult bout not that difficult that an average peraon can acheive mark if they work hard or give their mind to the subjects.

Likes

Smart class room is super and magnificent
Wifi availability is inside the campus and fast connection
International level infrastructure drinking water availability

Dislikes

No better placements, very poor placement services
Experienced staffs is less and very few teachers is good
No regular bus service in to college and is very poor

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like electrical and electronics so i choose this course. The curriculum prepares me well in the field. Need Improve in internship field. Need improvement in friendly teaching. Exams are coming so fast we don't get much time for relaxation.. Exams is simple.

An honest review of GCE KANNUR by a student

The college is merit based admission college, to get admission in this college you have to write an entrance exam which is KEAM and I have a rank of 16000 in KEAM So the college I first confirmed admission was GEC Kozhikode which was a good college but the campus was too small so there was a spot admission which was held by GCE kannur and I applied for it The admission process is managed by KEAM they give you a date to take admission and the process gets done in 2hrs you have to be physically present with your parents , The overall admission experience was smooth and well managed by the faculties...Read More
