The college is the one of the best on kerala. Better of you focus on studies. Your choices will make you the best or the worst.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is based on the kannur university syllabus. At that time the syllabus contained older stuff. But now the university is changed to KTU which has a very good Curriculum and Exam structure. I think its pointless to explain about the old Curriculum since it is not in use anymore.
Placement Experience
Actually during my course period the situation was very poor. Nobody got placed from our batch. But after our batch, happy to hear that more peaple are getting placed
College Events
There were many events. Most of the good events were hosted by college union by udsf. We were lucky to have such a union. The events included college day, onam and christmas celebrations, holly celebration, freshers day parties, DJ parties. And there were tech fests hosted by college and external authorities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As its a Goverment college, the fee were very low. Tution fee was around 6000 per year and exam fee were around 500 per semester. There were also bus and library fees. As the hostel was not open at our times there were no hostel fee. Now there should be hostel fee also. And most of these fee were covered by e grantz in my case
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah I got a scholarship from govt. E grants. Which covers tution fee. Egrants website contains all informations needed for application.
Campus Life
Great ambience to live. The hostel ilfe were so memorable. The college is located at a calm and beautifull place. Its the best location for a college. The college life may involve the actions by political parties and related problems. Better to stay neutral to avoid from these. There were extracurricular activities which were conducted in very good way. The gender ratio was almost equal.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a good alumni association. They were very helpful to contact after course duration especially in job search. The seniors were great and helpful also.
Admission
I have appeared for keam 2013. Got a rank near 10k. Then I enrolled in the engineering allotment process. I opted for ece I got allotment in the second phase allotment. Seeked admission within 2days after allotment. The college staffs and senior students helped to complete the admission process during that time.
Faculty
It depends on how you make use of the available resources. Most of the teachers are helping minded. But you have to approach to them as you needed. Otherwise they wont be having that seriousness to complete the syllabus before exam date. But if you push them as its your need, they will defenitely help.
