Remarks

Our college is one of the best commerce college in West bengal. It has many opportunities and various social clubs. The fees is very low as it is totally government college. Good marks is only the criteria for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always had a deep affection for accounting and finance so I choosed Finance and accounting as my discipline. The faculty are very well educated. They always help the student with any doubt. Exams are not that tough but you have to study.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Placement Experience

After 4th semester students are eligible. Deloitte, DE shaw, Wipro, Axis Bank comes to given placement.

College Events

Various events are organised by the student council. It helps in mobilising the students in their social life. University sports like football, cricket, volleyball, badminton is there. Inter college competition are played.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government schemes are there. Scholarship is given to backward students. Financial assistance is also provided.

Campus Life

Our campus is not tha big. But it has all good facilities. We have a good library. It has all accademic as well as non accademy books. The library is very neat and clean. There is a smart computer lab with 40-50 computers.

It depends on the cut offs. Board marks matters.

Likes

Teachers behaviour and their way of teaching
Classrooms are well maintained with air conditioned
Canteen foods are really good tastes and at average price

Dislikes

College union and few seniors are there..
Office staff they are a bit casual approach
There are many books in the library but year wise books takes time to set on the library

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible for placement from The 7 semister or the 8th one.. Many msme complanies are linked to this college. Flipkart are one of the best company who hired new recruits from this college. I visited Ardent Computer Msme companies... As an Internship And it's one of the most outstanding company A standard percentage will help you to carry on.. My plan is to give the CAT exam and pursue for MBA

It's been a wonderful experience until now, hope the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. Remarks:

Affialted to North Bengal University the education is good here. Even though being a government College there is no political activities. The college is free from strikes. The teachers are well qualified. The fees is relatively very less.

Getting admission was easy, I had to first make sure that I was able to fulfil the eligibility criteria of getting accepted in the college, once that was done, I had to fill the application form which is present in the college website.

Remarks:

The ground of our college is way too short. Rather not too short but not enough. The infrastructure is good. We have own individual departments for every stream or courses. The buildings are much big.

Perfect campus for economics student

Admission process are very simple. Generally entrance exam was conducted for admission but I took admission just after COVID so I didn't give any entrance exam. But cutt off was very high. At least 70 percent marks in graduation are mandatory to take admission in this university on the merit basis. Application form are generally found on University official website in August.
