Course Curriculum Overview

Student ratio is very small because as we know in engineering there is lack of girls. The scope of chemical engineering is good in india.Taching mathod is modrate not goid but also not bad they all have knowledge but they are not giving there 100% because some reason because of lack of time in j&k recently 370 removes so college was disturbed by that now covid-19.

Class Size: 81

Placement Experience

200% in cse. 110% in IT. 60% in chemical engineering students are placed last year. The highest package is 72Lakh which got by a student in 2016. Vedantu, iocl, hptl, and many it compnies visited every year.

Campus life is ameging as you all know about the snow fall of kashmir nature of kashmir and the cultural program in my college is good but because of lack of time that happened less but without that the cricket tournaments, other compition like kabbaddi, basket ball, and handball etc. And the clubs of nit sgr like dance clube name_ beat buster, and semicolon for codding etc are there so it a goid life.

Hostel Facilities

12gb per day internate, heated rooms, almeera and study table, books etc. Six person in a room but there is no issue with because the size of rooms are big or enough for living together beds are provided by the athorities.

Hostel Fee: INR 14000 per year

Admission

Yes, Jee Mains exam about it I have already discussed above.Admission in my college is based on jee main exam rank which conducts twice in a year in jan. And aprill. After the result there is counslling process which is conducted by jossa in this there is 7round and after this there is some seat vaccent so that for those seats there is csab round 1st and second round. After these things there is physical reporting at college. There your document will clearfy. As I said my college is a national level college so that there is lots of scholarships by that you can less your tution fee if you come in sc st category then your tution fee is zero. If your fathers income is less than 1lakh your tution fee will zero. If your fathers income is 1-5lakh then your tution fee will be 25% of 62500 per semester there is 8 semester.

i liked the overall infrastructure of the university and their teaching
it is asias largest university with a refreashing eniviorment
the teching methodology is best with best use of teaching aids

Dislikes

some teachers are not friendly and very rude
st are given more paferance with regard to fee
st and sc have to score less in inter university test

the curriculam was learner friendly it mostly pursuits for acadimic not real world .yes we can use audio visal aids and flied triep .the timing of exam was in late evening of winter it was difficult for some students to reach on time.

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

College campus is best as we enter the college
Spending time with friends at the campus in free tym is just like awesome
All facilities are available in campus playground, swimming , library etc.

Dislikes

Canteen is small according to student population
Sitting space in canteen is not as much gud
Some appliances are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I had taken science in my 12th too, that is why I wanted to continue in science and due to my interest in physics and chemistry, I continued in this course. The curriculum provides me with Whatever is sufficient in my course and whatever knowledge I need, I will have more than that. Exam timing should be in the afternoon only because morning gets very late in coming due to which exam gets skipped, rest it is perfect

Likes

Faculty is very nice and the way they teaches us is outstanding
I like the campus beauty my college campus is very mesmerizing and maintainance is great
I like the fee structure of my college it is very affordable

Dislikes

I don't like timetables of my college the time table they made for classes is not suitable for us
There is not digitalized classes in our college..only few class rooms have this system
No heating system for winters in classrooms as well as in Libra

I am currently doing my BA Hons in political science. It was my aim to pursue my degree in political science since my childhood.. political science has a very good scope and it is also very interesting subject ...we can exercise politics in day to day life also

I get this college Throgh JOSAA ( baised on Jee Mains Rank ) . This college stands good in academics but in management it needs improvement . NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth
